In the past, where is the worst sound bleed? and how bad does crowding get? Any tips for navigating this thing are appreciated! But, I get that the grounds are pretty different and much smaller this year. I'm mainly wondering how bad the trip over to "Amazon Music" and "Ron Brugal" are from the main stages and also what the sound bleed is like at Cupra or just in general.
the crowding tends to be the worst at British acts playing smaller stages, like I could see Self Esteem being totally packed. The walk from the edge of Cupra to Mordor takes roughly 10 minutes, closer to 20 from the entrance/Amazon stage. However add 10 minutes on that if you’re trying to get to Mordor as an act is finishing there
Sooo.. Are they or are they not gonna add a Boiler Room tho..
have they said anything about it coming back? Tbh I have no idea where they can fit it, the noise bleed with Plentitude last year was annoying for acts that couldn’t drown it out
Idk, feel like it's such a staple. That said, they've completely thrown all of their stage names and lay-out in the blender again so who the fuck knows.
Kind of embarrassing to be associated with Boiler Room these days so maybe they've moved on like others have.
W-what happend?
Perhaps they could invite HÖR. Their streams are top notch. Dekmantel already did it.
They've just had so much bad press over the years including lots of stuff about not paying artists. Not to mention at this point it is basically just venture capitalists trying to squeeze as much money as they can out of the little remaining cache the brand has.
Madrid schedule looks way better than the Barcelona one imo
After I came to peace with Saturday Night / Sunday Morning, I'm happy with it. I'll see a different 20 or so sets plus all the Auditorium shows I can.
It'll end up being 65 sets with 20 of those being repeats. Another 24 sets with Ciutat shows for a whopping 69 bands and 89 sets of music over 14 days.

And I've got 60 Euros in my slush fund already.
Yeah, last year I saw something like 80-ish shows, probably the most crazy two weeks of music I've ever experienced in my life. Enjoy the ride, matey!
Just noticed the pre-party is up on the schedule now. PSB and Darkside don't conflict but only a 30 minute gap between shows.
That doesn't sound possible to do both does it?
i would leave around 10:30 to be safe, but it really only does take 40-45 minutes to make the trip. Also note that they aren’t using Mordor for PSB, they’re playing the Amazon stage, which should also cut down on the travel time

I might have to start doing stimulants again to make it to 6am every day. Mrs. Midder Happier is definitely going to be on the struggle bus. Here's to not adjusting to the time zone on Tuesday-Wednesday

Arthur Verocai is the best thing on this lineup, too many of yall dont have him in your schedule.
Also Rosalia in Barcelona is going to be special. Two Shell literally sent fake dudes to pretend to dj for their set last year, don't miss Rosalia for that.

Verocai, amenra, rosalia, overmono are my only penciled in artists after a quick look over. getting Verocai is so fkn cool.

Arthur Verocai is a pretty big deal for me. Debating heading to NYC for this shindig but waiting to commit until I get my credit card statement back after Spain.

My main complaint really is that they could have posted the schedule before releasing the ciutat tickets lol. I might have cared more about a Sunday show (Jockstrap mainly) knowing the conflicts. I went ahead and reserved a ticket for the Gilla Band show because they were still available as of twenty minutes ago, but I might skip it and find something F1-related or take a trip up to Andorra/France on Sunday/Monday, which have been my loose plans. Maybe I should have done a better job anticipating inevitable conflicts.
u almost wonder if Primavera fucked the Barca layout so hard to make the Madrid layout look much better in comparison
They don't have access to the beach on the other side of the marina anymore, so they had no choice there, and other than that the map is pretty similar to last year. Main difference is they got rid of the Binance stage fka Primavera which was a crowd chokepoint and safety hazard last year. There was apparently some kind of brief crowd crush scare at stage right which was sort of a narrow passageway for people coming over from Plen and Cupra. Given their constraints I don't think this is some dramatic downgrade from last year. The way they're utilizing this space, that they have access to, is possibly an improvement.

I actually made the right call with that Gilla Band / Unwound show. That Rosalía conflict is just brutal. Glad I have another shot.
I assume the F1 stuff will be over earlier in the day though? I'm not well versed in all things racing.

Race is at 3 PM Barcelona time, I think. So earlier than the concerts yeah. Should be over by like 5.

this makes me wonder if it’s worth leaving Mordor after New Order to see some Le Tigre or just stay in the area and wait for Blur.
