the crowding tends to be the worst at British acts playing smaller stages, like I could see Self Esteem being totally packed. The walk from the edge of Cupra to Mordor takes roughly 10 minutes, closer to 20 from the entrance/Amazon stage. However add 10 minutes on that if you’re trying to get to Mordor as an act is finishing there
this makes me wonder if it’s worth leaving Mordor after New Order to see some Le Tigre or just stay in the area and wait for Blur.
imo that depends on how close you want to be for Blur. In your situation I would see Le Tigre and head to Mordor when they finish, you might miss the first blur song but by then the Halsey crowd will have dispersed and you could find a solid spot for Blur since they’re the last Mordor act of the day

It's supposed to be about a 17 minute cab ride from PdF (PSBs) to the Apolo (Darkside). Thirty minutes should be enough time? Maybe leave before the last couple songs but no need to skip altogether, I think. I'll split a cab with any of yall.

It's the question of getting a cab, isn't it? I'm all for it and happy to share. I'm solo all week so I'm down for literally anything anyone throws out.

Yeah idk seems like we should be able to get one but maybe there's a risk. Hopefully Monday and Tuesday are confidence-inspiring on the cab/FreeNow front. FreeNow is like Uber over there. It's a little less reliable but around that time should hopefully be decent. As I remember the service includes traditional cabs unlike Uber.

Hey Madrid folk, since there's no Auditori on site at the Ciudad del Rock they're using the La Estación Gran Teatro during the afternoon before the main festival. Place is pretty.
Reservations for seating open up Tuesday if anyone wants to catch a show or all of them with me.

Yeah let's play wait and see.
I was kinda surprised that PSB sold out the ciutat show but then remembered it was a way more intimate venue and a lot more rare.
The only ones that have hit capacity besides that are Japanese Breakfast and Darkside.

Thanks. I actually saw this and I'm 20 min away form the theatre by walk. It might sound blasphemy but I'm just going to do Gran Teatro on Saturday for Madrid and not going to the full main festival. All acts i want to see on that day i will be seeing them on Barcelona's saturday. I'll be doing a Toledo trip on Monday and also will be checking Carmina Burana by la fura dels baus (Catalonyan theatre company) on Tuesday, not to mention i will be going to the UK after that for the Isle of Wight. I think i might need some days i really need to chill out and it seems that day is perfect.

Totally understandable. We're doing Thursday and Friday there but may have to duck out early from Swans to get to the City of Rock. It's apparently a 45 minute subway ride then another 30 minutes on the shuttle. Gonna see how the first day goes.
Gonna skip Laurie and Cale as I've seen both a few times now and taking my one of my sons to see him in NYC in August. Plus we fly out Sunday so we'll need that time to pack up.

I'm more concern with the return, From previous years i know it has been a literal clusterfuck for Mad Cool, not sure how Primavera is going to handle that. They added 2 different return routes and not just Civitas:
I know. I'm totally fucked because i just realize i need to do it at 4 in the morning for the auditorio. The opening day is the 18th for me. Good luck tomorrow.

judging by the Ciutat ticket sales I think you’ll be alright, though I haven’t seen the capacity of the theater
