Another awesome day of music. Alvvays my favourite of the day.
One glaring negative about this fest is the crowd chatting. I’ve never had it so bad before. If one song isn’t their favourite a full conversation breaks out.
Thats a brit heavy crowd for ya.
honestly the Brits have been ok. Tolerable. The Spaniards not so much.
Another awesome day. This fest is up there with the best. I absolutely loved The War On Drugs. Not sure the crowd was the best based on the screens but where I stood it was perfect. They are an incredible pure rock band.
Also shout out Calvin Harris for not being a drag. Actually a very fun set.

That was cool. I ended up watching the whole show after St Vincent and was wondering if I had made a little bit of a mistake just passing by TWOD at Bonnaroo last year. I can’t remember who they were up against - Arlo Parks? - but I remember liking it enough - just not realizing how overall good they might have been.
I got home an hour again, it's been a rush full of traveling, axhaustion and sleep deprivation today but I'm glad I'm home. I guess. I had, once again, the most amazing week in Barcelona. The city, the Parc del Forum, the line-up, shows and pre-fest shows.. Everything about this festival is so great. I for sure want to come back again next year. This is just THE best festival in the world (yes, there. I said it). Primavera remains unmatched, and unlike last year this year's logistics were amazing; from the bars and food stalls to getting in/out of the festival to getting around the festival itself. Everything has been smooth sailing from the get-go! The festival took the critiques from last year by heart and switched up their grounds and logistics mostly for the better, which I'm very happy about that they did.
Highlights from the past week include the hometown headlining show of Rosalia, Perfume, Hudson Mohawke, Fred Again, Skrillex, Nia Archives, Julia Holter.. Just to name a few.
I want to thank garageland, piggy pablo, Jeremy Fragrance, Fitter Happier and hoffm83n for the past week. Hanging out and/or just meeting from time to time with y'all has been an absolute blast and I'll treasure the memories we made - in the city aswell as on site. See y'all next year? <3
Enjoy Madrid, for whoever's doing it and for the rest, enjoy the last post-fest shows tonight!

Just got back from walking the Gothic Quarter and eating a shit ton of paella. Went for the couple's massage and spa day today.
I want to second everything above. This has been an amazing festival and my first back in years. After COVID, I wasn't sure when I would catch another one and was convinced that I wouldn't ever attend a fest like Lolla '08, Bonnaroo 12-14, or Panorama 16-17 ever again, but Primavera proved that wrong. It has all the excitement of a new fest (for me) and the power of some of my favorite fests of all-time. This was up there with the best of them, and I'm fairly sure I saw a very different schedule from yinz, which shows the depth and breadth of the lineup. The logistics were amazing. Food was maybe the best I've ever had at a fest and never really waited in line for anything. Having this ocean side was chef's kiss. My only real complaint was the talkers, but easy to ignore and let go. I couldn't think of a better way to spend my honeymoon, and Mrs. Fitterhappier loved it as well (she's only ever done ACL and a day of BC before).
Meeting you all was wonderful! Very grateful for all the help and suggestions! From dancing at Confidence Man with y'all, to seeing garageland all emotional after Unwound, to watching John Cale with Jeremy Fragrance, to finishing things out at Peggy with piggy pablo and garageland (damn happy you found that wallet!). It was also great meeting Bing and hoffm83n. I'm so glad you all had an amazing festival experience, and Mrs. Fitterhappier and I are just filled with joy with this one. Still hitting the beach and Parc Guell tomorrow. So much more to say and process, so many wonderful sets, such a beautiful city, but I'll leave it there for now! Highly recommend, 10/10

Keep the recaps coming, everything I'm hearing about this past weekend is inspiring me to get my shit together so I can make this happen again next year. Love that the capacity issues seem to have been fixed, and that sans Bits it seems a lot easier to bounce from stage to stage. Really going to put my best foot forward to make this happen in 2024.
