Fantastic weekend and was a pleasure meeting, hanging out and throwing down with y'all. Love that we can experience a festival as special as this together. Dice stage was incredible for this year, every show i saw there was intense and fun. I'll have to do more reflecting but my top show was amenra, was everything i wanted and more. Such a change from when colin playing hymns in a church at le guess who? but with similar intensity.
Mid Card: Underworld, Bikini Kill, Freddie Gibbs, Le Sserafim, Young Fathers, Susanne Sundfor, Lil Yachty, Tim Hecker, Capsule
Undercard: Debby Friday, Frost Children, Mandy Indiana, some unexpected and cool reunion, Parannoul, Maruja, Billy Woods, Portraits of Tracy, DJ Sabrina the Teenage DJ, Billlie, Jerome’s Dream, Snow Strippers, The Murder Capital, HMLTD
And like half the fun of this fest is getting into new artists I’ve never listened to, so plenty of that also.
On my way to the first Ciudad show this week. It's gonna be a light one as I'm not going to cram everything leading up to the festival.
We're also out after the headliners this time around, too. It's a long way to travel that late at night and pretty sure that one or both of us will pass out on the shuttle.

They say 30 minutes to Ciudad del Rock and 30 minutes back but there's three different options so maybe a little more or a little less depending on where you're going.
Rosalía and Bad Gyal are must sees if you're there!!
They are. I just noticed they updated the schedule to no overlap but curious how hard it's gonna be getting out of the main stage area.
let’s us know how the logistics of getting there/layout of the fest is. The schedule there looked way less brutal in terms of conflicts than Barcelona + those Auditori type shows being way before the fest is a cool feature if you can get up that early.
Did a little write-up of my highlights in PS Barcelona. You can check it out HERE. Hope google translate works fine for y'all. Wanted to include more, since there's been so many highlights, but didn't have much more time.
Monday ran really smoothly. Napped and showered and I ended up doing the full show. Metro is a little harder to navigate than Barcelona but not too much. Just make sure you're going the right direction and you're fine. BCNR and Midi ripped. Like the club a lot (La Paqui).
Met my wife Tuesday and bummed around eating everything in sight. Ended up in Moncloa early and ate gelato till the show. Gilla Band didn't chage up their set from a few days ago but it ruled. Karate continues to be one of the best sleepy bands to exist. See them if you can.
The rain has started but light and supposedly over by the Inaugural later this evening. Gonna wander the royal palace and figure it out from there.
My big worry is the thunderstorms tomorrow night from Perfume to Blur and if we'll get evacuated. Past tomorrow though the weather looks perfect.
