List of possible headliners I'd like to see loosely ranked on how likely I think they'd be to get booked (I know a few of these might be too big but I don't care):
Bon Iver Run the Jewels Father John Misty Diana Ross James Blake Janelle Monae Yeah Yeah Yeahs Vampire Weekend Anderson .Paak Lana del Rey Beach House Wilco Grimes Solange Gorillaz Missy Elliott Lorde Nine Inch Nails SZA Rosalia The Smile D'Angelo Bjork Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds The Chemical Brothers Fiona Apple Frank Ocean (lol)

Can't believe it will be ten years since they broke up. The Rat really is one of the best songs of that era and their last few albums were very underrated.
eh I think this should go over to the Chicago thread at a certain point but this note makes me think they might not be doing as much outdoor music programming next summer and if that's the case it stands to reason the outdoor/indoor spaces have pretty similar capacity:
They got that many complaints? Thats a bummer cause I would really like to see a show there outdoors
I actually would be surprised if they got many at all, it’s an industrial area bordered by a highway and the river and it’s also right next to a giant outdoor area that serves as one of those seasonal Instagram photo op places. I just think they’re going to try and do a wider variety of events outside with less of an emphasis on shows. (And if I had to guess, the increased risk of weather cancellations at an outdoor venue with basically zero rain protection might have influenced that more.)
Press release "more festivals announcements are on the way". Who knows. Maybe they know this is gonna sell out in zero time and it wont matter too much for the fest.
Unless shown otherwise, I think theyre gonna go for something nobody is totally expecting but is on brand. Jill Scott announced part of a tour for her anniversary of This Is Jill Scott. No chicago date and does have one date in June outside of the early 2023 dates. Seems to go in line with Badu and Lauryn Hill. And they like album plays.
Pavement played in 2010, don't see why they wouldn't. Darkside don't really seem to care about touring the US.
I can see Pavement headlining this festival again and I feel like Darkside would fit perfectly for this festival. 2010 was my favorite year going to this festival! Bring back Pavement, LCD, Panda Bear, Liars, Broken Social Scene, and more!
