Blues is what it is. Arguments were made earlier threads. It spawned almost everything on the list except classical and country/bluegrass with maybe only a slight influence on some of the dance genres. So it’s good and bad. Ill say that if I’m at a bbq or barroom and somebody’s playing the blues, it’s at least not going to annoy me. There are more misses in all the other genres and more chances of being annoyed by someone playing something shitty.

I understand why racist magas would want to kill that off early since many of them believe in white replacement theory and most of those acts are or have black members. It’s not the biggest genre and should go in the next several picks, but I want to hear someone popping some bass strings before I want to hear disco, country, reggae, butt rock, hyperpop or modern R&B. That may be due to having a maggot brain.
