I used to work with one of my best friends. To annoy him, I spent an entire day mimicking that song on my mouth trumpet. Miraculously, we’re still friends. Perhaps more miraculously, that place paid us money for the jobs we did that day.
Funk is also one of those genres that never got better or changed once it peaked. And hate to break it, but same goes for disco.

Disco still exists/existed alongside house. House really is it's own thing, even if it sprawled directly from disco. Genres I'd put after/in the post-disco list are nu-disco, italo disco and eurodance. I mean those are great and all but meh.

Eurodance is what I grew up with. I like it tho. But is it better than disco, idk.
