I would pay an embarrassingly large sum of money for a Bo Burnham set.

I want to live in a world where Pusha T - Honey Dijon - Purple Disco Machine - The Avalanches - JPEGMAFIA - black midi is a plausible third line for Bonnaroo

We are pleased to announce the return of Pitchfork Music Festival to beautiful Union Park in Chicago, Illinois in 2023 for its 17th edition. Friday will feature a headlining performance by recently reunited Britpop legends Pulp in their first Chicago show in almost 25 years, and will also feature appearances by pop auteur Rina Sawayama, and Canadian dream pop band Alvvays. In her first appearance in the Windy City in over 30 years, Grace Jones will headline Saturday night, in addition to a rare performance from electronic stalwarts Underworld and a show from Saba, one of Chicago rap’s new beacons. The quickly rising hardcore band Turnstile will close on Saturday, a day that will also see sets from Florida rap visionary Denzel Curry and the recently reunited post-hardcore band Unwound. In addition, we are proud of the broad range of artists who you can expect to see throughout the weekend, including the first-ever live show from vaporwave pioneer Macintosh Plus, folk star and Indigenous activitst Buffy Sainte-Marie, local R&B star Ravyn Lenae, and elusive rapper Mach-Hommy. As always, we aim to highlight a wide range of styles and approaches across the weekend, from jazz to metal to folk to indie rock to footwork, from Chicago to the rest of the world. We can’t wait to see you all again in September next year.
Also, for the record, Missy Elliott was our original Saturday night headliner who cancelled. We also had booked Pharoah Sanders prior to his passing as well.
Can't tell if this would sell well in real life, but this line up is amazing. Getting Grace Jones to replace Missy feels like an upgrade almost. Underworld and Unwound are Also amazing gets. Great shout on bumping Alvvays, feel like their new album might give em the bump they need.
After weeks in preparation, we're excited to finally be able to announce the following. After years of financial struggle in the aftermath of events and festivals I, Barry Hogan, have organised, I have worked hard and surrounded myself with the right people to bring back something that a lot of indie fans hold dear to their hearts. All Tomorrow's Parties was a symbol of independence and togetherness with like minded people, both fan and artist. We're ecstatic to announce Silver Rocket, a three day festival located in New York City. We're setting up camps in the infamous Knockdown Center. Similarly as previous editions of ATP events, we've given artists the freedom of helping us in booking friends, artists they themselves are fan of etc. Sonic Youth will reunite exclusively at our festival for the very first time in years and have invited the likes of Nick Cave & Warren Ellis, Beak>, Jeff Parker and Colin Stetson. Coming of their critically acclaimed album 'Once twice melody', we've selected Beach House to headline Saturday evening. UK breakthrough band Black Country, New Road will headline the first night and have selected themselves a couple of friends of the Speedy Wunderground kitchen as some other UK colleagues.
