Fucking Brutal. Probably the worst USWNT performance I can remember. Glad they at least moved to the Knockout Stage, I guess. They need to make some massive changes to the lineup and improvement in play quickly or they’re gonna get bounced.
Much improved first half. Would have liked to have gotten a goal but good possession and much better movement. Sonnett and Rodman were finally the right starters. I thought Sonnett would come in at central back with Ertz moving up into the midfield, but Sonnett has been great so far in a defensive mid role. If we can move on, I think Rose Lavelle should return to the starting lineup for Sullivan.

Not singling her out, but scoring a penalty kick is the equivalent of making a free throw. Missing three in a row like that, or 3 out of 4 or whatever it was, was pretty weak. Like they all missed the goal, wasn’t even saves
