I do agree with what piggy pablo said, I didn't really view this as a whodunnit until I read all the comments in the general TV thread. I just enjoy the writing and the character development. And the nudity.
think the question was do they set her up or are they hit men and it just seems like they set her up and he's going to be able to void the prenup. am sort of wondering if greg was saying I love you to him on the phone and is it a multi year con coming together.
whole episode was so tense though. the shot of Portia and the "nephew" leaving the bar felt like it could go a ton of different directions

Just started this series on Saturday and am all caught up. What a fun ride! The newest episode got so tense, lots of thoughts and questions swirling around my brain.
Tbh, I have little sympathy for Tanya after how she did Belinda in the first season! I feel worse for Portia. Harper is my favorite new character, but Lucia & Mia have been fun too.

Dude from The Sopranos aged nicely
Harper is my new favorite. I really love how great Coolidge is at playing Tanya, and I always love a maturing female character who drinks too much champagne, but I was hoping they would give Tanya more depth.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
one cool thing I noticed - Jack is a West Ham United fan. he has a tattoo of their logo (the hammers) and he was singing their song (i'm always blowing bubbles) when walking around drunk.
kinda reminded me of this scene from green street hooligans.
there was big brawl in Palermo when West Ham played there in the EUFA cup in like 2007. dunno if it has anything to do with the story at all, but I thought it was kinda cool.
I hope Tayna is killed off because I really don't want to see Jennifer Coolidge on Season 3 lol For some reason I find her so annoying
Her character's run her course. She doesn't need to be involved next season. Hope Portia saves her and she has a happy ending but I don't want the show to have a main character.
The more I was thinking about this season the more I felt that the theme was “all relationships are transactional”.
Mia + manager= Trade hookup for piano Lucia + dudes= Trade hookup for money “Uncle” + “nephew”= helped out of hole, must repay favor Cam+ daphne= cam says “im going to make you pay” Sopranos + wife back home= I’ll buy you Italian jewelry, you forgive infidelities Greg+ head gay= help me with Tanya, I’ll give you attention/affection Tanya+ Greg= I take you on vacation, give you nice things so give love

So, did Cam and Harper hook up or is she making Ethan suffer by making it seem like she did?
IMO suffer. no way harper would have sex with cam unless she was completely out of her mind wasted. it was the middle of the day and she was pretty normal.

I agree, but I think Ethan is about to fucking snap.

Oh def. And the more you try to speculate, the more you can make a case for anyone, tbh. So it is an act of futility. Suicide has been mentioned or a scene that could be interpreted as symbolic of suicide for two characters. Multiple characters have put their relationships in perilous positions. Possible motives abound. May as well pull names out of a hat.

Absolutely. I don’t know why but my mind went to them jet skiing and Ethan trying to “beat” him and they both end up dying.
please list your top TWO scenarios and who will die in each one.
1: ethan and cameron. they get into a fight on/in the water (maybe on jet skis).
2: tanya and portia. when portia arrives back at the villa cowboy greg is there, so they decide to off her too b/c tanya sticks up for her. then they throw them in the ocean and say they slipped at the party.
honestly have a really hard time not putting putting up a theory with lucia but they do say it is "guests" who have been killed and it feels like the manager would NEVER call lucia/mia/piano man guests.

Wouldn't be surprised to see it be. Total out of left field thing. Feel like those are most obvious so also makes me think it won't be them.
Was wondering if maybe the Viagra/ecstasy mix up would come back in the end leading to the deaths.
Still feeling like the Coolidge storyline is more sinister feeling than it will turn out to be. Like it's not a set up for murder but something the husband set up to make her happy? Though him being annoyed that her assistant was there makes that odd

Do we have any details on Imperioli's backstory? When his dad was like "whatever you did can't be as bad as Hades raping Persephone" I was like "aw fuck he must've done incest or something". But then they kinda dropped it so maybe it wasn't the foreshadowing that I thought.

I thought it was mostly that he just cheated on his wife with multiple hookers or other women.
I read a post on Reddit where people were saying how so many theories are so out there and extreme because we as an audience just go there. Like...the first season all we knew was a coffin and people came up with all sorts of murder theories when it was actually it that crazy.
I did have a weird feeling that we'd find out that everyone the prostitute hooked up with would end up with the same std (and we'd find out F. Murray Abraham also had it meaning all generations got some from the same woman).
Speaking of....it seemed like she was actually liking Albie but she's totally scamming him for a bigger score, right? Lying about her boss or whatever? Or does that seem straight forward and legit

I didn't think Alessio or whatever his name is was a real guy at first, figured it was a scam. I've lost sight of that and sort of bought into it as he's appeared in-person, but yeah at first I thought it was a con because I didn't think they had a pimp and we hadn't seen him. It makes sense they don't have a pimp because Mia is so green and if she doesn't hook it doesn't seem to have any consequence.
