I think I paid $100 for LCD by themselves at the Palladium which had every 7-foot person in LA in attendance, so we couldn't even see the stage. Yeah, I'm a bit miffed I could have paid half for this, but I'm more confident I'll have a great time at this.
I did ask about the Parsons shuttle on their Insta but they have not responded. Guess we'll find out from the SL/BG folks.

The faq even states when it comes to public transport you have to rideshare to arrive. So they really did nix the shuttle.
"If you plan to take Metro to the festival, you'll need to finish by taking Pasadena Transit or rideshare."
There are specific bus routes that do take you to the bowl.
Tbh, I wanted to see Boygenius but these shows are too expensive for what they are - We're passing and hoping they roll through on a later tour.
I feel like $100 for LCD, Idles, & Jamie is good value, but the BG/Steve Lacy ones didn’t feel worth it to me
$100?! I paid $160 for face after fees in Chicago for the LCD day. Nearly $500 for 3 tickets. Hoping work comes thru since White Claw sponsors it and I get some tickets to sell these off and get some money back…
San Diego friends, parking says it's $25 but ticketmaster fees bring it up to $34.50 (!!!) Do you think it's just flat $25 if we pay at the gate?
Not sure if you needed this for today or later this weekend, but it’s $25 flat. I actually did their $35 lot and got out of it immediately, worth considering!

That must’ve been the VIP green lot. If you have VIP it should be free.

Review: 8/10
Parking: Was fairly easy to get in. Paying in person saved me $3 in service fees. Very very dark so make sure you remember where you park. I left early so it was easy to find it with my car alarm. I imagine it’s not that easy if you leave at the end
Capacity: felt very open and free. Felt like most people showed up in the middle of James Blake. And even then felt like mad space. When I went to the empty bar in the back before Toro they said it was very slow like no one came to them
Music: Everybody I saw (missed Foushee) was great. Toro was a cute sunshine set. James Blake was beautiful at sunset but my first time seeing him at a festival. Definitely prefer him at a solo show. Crowd finally showed up for Steve Lacy. He was great but his mic felt low at times. Left the last 20 mins cause I was very cold.
Etc:: The bubble lounge was really great and served good Rose. They will only be at Steve Lacy days though. Had a clean port a pottie the whole night. Pizza was ok. It’s no spicy pie. The first bar is the longest line. Take the extra walk and get a quick drink.
Overall; I had a great time but not worth $123 or whatever I paid. It’s a cool but strange concept because you’re banking on people really loving the headliner or bigger big fans of every artist and I don’t think that was the case. If you have a ticket you’ll have fun. On the fence then save money
So no Parsons shuttle for Pasadena? Anyone who went last night can you confirm?
I saw a physical sign for shuttles but it wasn’t on the digital signs telling you how to get to rideshare/parking so I’m a assume no and the physical sign is just always there
