I really like the idea of Re:Set but other than the California dates this has been a failure. Even most of the California dates had really soft sales. I'm sure they could figure out the sales issue with a different lineup but they really need to evaluate having these other cities during this time of year. Would this have been better in July or August or is the weather even worse? What about May?

My weather app on my work computer has Saturday in Columbus as 85 and sunny with only a 1-5% chance of rain in the evening. I'm going to choose to blindly believe this until day of.
I thought the trio of Boygenius would have pushed tickets but maybe just having Phoebe would have worked better? Name recognition and all. Then there’s the fact that LCD don’t push tickets anymore. One off dates, sure but a whole tour?

maybe im wrong, but it seemed like the boygenius dates are the ones that have sold the best

NYC went off OK - doors on the first day (LCD Soundsystem/IDLES/etc.) were delayed one hour, but that's it. That's the only day I went, and it wasn't sold out, but it also was far from empty. The boygenius day was sold out. I don't know how the Steve Lacy day did, but unless it totally tanked, I don't know that I'd call it a failure here.

Ahh. I thought it was Steve Lacy then BG and lastly, LCD.
I would take this lineup, but what is with it closing at 9pm??
The 9 p.m. close may have been due to that venue having an early curfew or something. I saw the tour in Ohio and I'm pretty sure it went to 11 p.m.
When I lived in Ohio, outdoor shows in the summer time (or any time) always carried the risk of rain and while I do remember getting soaked at some shows, notably Lollapalooza 1992, when an afternoon thunderstorm led to a bunch of people (including Chris Cornell and Eddie Vedder) doing mudslides down the amphitheater's hill, I don't remember a show ever being cancelled because of weather.

They sold out a 5,500 venue in a mid-tier market tonight. I still believe they're the strongest of the three in terms of draw. The Smile has yet to even sell out the same venue indoors (2,400 cap) for a show next month, just for context. It probably would've helped if boygenius didn't announce these additional dates. I know some people who would've travelled, I think. But yeah, a lot of my friends were interested in the lineup but not for that price tag and the price of travel while competing with vacations and other commitments this time of year, plus a ton of other small fests and shows nearby.

boygenius and Phoebe sold out the same venue here in Pittsburgh. Very curious how LCD would sell here. As far as I know, they've never played here, definitely not since the 2016 reboot. I think they expected more people to travel from Cinci, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, WV, etc.

Has anyone received any info about refunds? Specifically, I am curious as to what they are doing with 3-day passes where one day was cancelled (Boston and Dallas) but would be interested in knowing if any one-day refunds have come through
It's still early but I'm worried about the forecast for Chicago on Sunday.
Same day as the pride parade! Could be bad for a lot of reasons lol
I wasn't planning on going to the Parade this year because of the fest and I don't live on the parade route anymore, but yeah hopefully this forecast changes. Is there anywhere to go near Reis Park if there's a weather evacuation? It seems even more residential than Union Park.

Great concert! We were at that Stage AE show last night in Pittsburgh, and I can vouch for Boygenius’ popularity. We bought presale, and I think the public sale sold out in a day. Resale held at mostly over $200. By comparison, My Morning Jacket’s show on the same outdoor stage in a week has not sold out. We’re going to Fleet Foxes tonight and they haven’t sold out the 2400 tickets for Stage AE’s indoor stage.
I’d love to see Steve Lacy sometime soon but I think headliner was a reach, especially at Forest Hills’ NY prices.

[br There’s a fieldhouse there but it looks like it’s under construction at the moment. guessing everyone’s on their own at the nearby target.
