i don't have a lot of coachella sources but i was able to get confirmation from nine different insiders that yes, taylor swift is headlining coachella, full send. i'll stake my whole inforoo reputation on it.

With the exception of The National Homecoming, where she will obviously be doing a surprise set in September, I don’t see her doing any festivals, as she would not be able to do her full production.
She is very calculated with everything she does. The eras tour is not halfway done. I wouldn’t be surprised if a documentary or a series is being filmed following her tour in the states and abroad. Coachella could be part of it tho, but to be iconic or pop culture relevant in Taylor terms, it would need to be a stand alone performance after the eras tour is over to gain more press and attention. Maybe 2025 but 2024 is too soon.

There was some thing about screenshots of Hulu having The Eras Tour on it so I think most of her fans are expecting some kind of concert film.
3 more singapore dates added which makes her final date in Asia March 9. So thats 5 weeks before weekend 1. Still enough time to rest up and rehearse for a week beforehand

Until Taylor can actually air/stream live performances of songs she hasn't re-recorded yet (which still hasn't been proven false), she won't play Coachella. Not being able to stream her set would be a huge loss considering how big Coachella's YouTube stream have gotten (and no, Frank isn't a good example of a headliner not streaming since that was a last-minute call).
So looking at how frequently she's released those re-recorded albums, 2025 is the earliest she could MAYBE play but 2026 is probably more realistic (barring anymore new albums).

Has it even been proven true she wouldn’t be able to stream even if she hasn’t finished her re-recordings.
She only has Reputation and 1989 to go (debut doesn’t get any play on the current tour) so even if that is the case she could still do that before Coachella.
Reputation feels very skippable if she was to condense the setlist for a 2.5 hour set. I'd imagine having a huge cultural moment around the show (a la what happened with the Beyonce stream) would be a big appeal of doing Coachella, so the stream would be a must.
As a side note, does anyone know if the artists get extra money or some kind of royalty from the stream? Or is it just built in as part of the payment for the festival in general?
I am just going with my hot take and join this sport of speculations that re-recording is all done regardless of what we have heard on their progress as she will just here and there, makes (surprise or keeping her in the news during tour break or whenever she feels milking it further on her way to break that billion $$$ barrier asap etc lol) announcement of the next ones (re)release thru with the last just before Coachella.

I'm admittedly not the biggest Taylor Swift fan, but it feels like this tour is a very well orchestrated runback of all her albums for 3-3.5 hours (or whatever it is) and it seems a little strange / unrealistic that she would just do a one-off (or two-off I guess) ~2 hour show at Coachella in the middle of finishing up this tour
I don't believe she's "too big for Coachella", but I think if she plays it, it would be at the tail end of this tour in 2025 or at the start of a new tour in 2026 when she would feel compelled to put together a separate Coachella set. I think its unrealistic she plays a full 3.5 hour Eras set at Coachella, and don't think she would play a non-Eras show in the middle of an Eras tour
