I think that because that’s how they used them last time for the Dylan set.
I want Gil and Dave tunes in 2 weeks.
Oh weird I thought it was labeled “65 revisited” or something like that. Didn’t realize it was booked as Dave and Gillian. I didn’t go and my memory is failing me
No, it was. The original lineup in 2015 had the set listed as "65 revisited"
Probably just a Lenderman set….they don’t wanna announce it because….well….that aftershow is selling like a turd.
The first festival to radius clause itself
Really hope it is MJ, so I can ditch this podcast ticket for 5 dollars and try my luck at getting into illiterate light, as I have conflicts that prevent me from seeing Thao and Illiterate light

My unrealistic guess for TBA is a stripped down boygenius set. It has no basis in reality, but they do have the MUNA connection and are fans of both Big Thief and Hozier.

Sierra Ferrel va Cory Wong is a bummer. Sierra has canceled shows ob me 5 times. Still haven’t seen her, yet Cory wing and friends is a highly anti show for me. Gonna have to split em
How Long Gone said they’ll be joined by a Denver artist who is scheduled to play MSG, at the Thursday Jane Pickens show. Thinking Nathaniel Rateliff is it and he’s the unannounced act on the Quad.

New album is only 36 min in length could explain the short set maybe play the album cover to cover...

Could also just be NR doing a Leonard Cohen covers set.

Good find! Looking through MSG shows, that feels most likely to me too, could be Isakov, but they could have probably announced if it was Isakov.

Why can’t they announce NR though. I don’t see any shows nearby.
Isakov on the other hand has local shows later this year.
Yea, I really hope it’s not Rateliff. Thinking about if he was announced as part of the lineup announcement cycle, we’d all be posting about how uninspiring that is. And I like Rateliff.
But yes, that slot on the Quad would be a good fit for an acoustic NR set.
Upcoming Shows: August 7: Green Day/Smashing Pumpkins/Rancid/The Linda Lindas August 30: Waxahatchee/Snail Mail/Tim Heidecker September 17: Pearl Jam/Glen Hansard September 24: Idles/English Teacher

I think I’m going with the Mt. Joy theory for the unannounced (unless it’s James Bay, who is also playing with Noah Kahan and Mt Joy in Boston). Maybe a stretch, but maybe Nathan’s Rateliff is doing How Long Gone and guesting on Cory Wong’s set? 🤷♀️ I guess he’s headlined for Rateliff before.
Looking at Fenway‘s schedule, The Hives are opening for Foo Fighters next week, and that would be a fun, out-of-left-field booking.
