It's actually safe to drive a truck full of barrels of fuel to a hospital. Hamas needs to just reveal their location and do that. The advanced surveillance system Israel has wouldn't pick up on it. And if it did, they surely wouldn't bomb the hell out of it.
Like it's fine to believe Hamas should give up fuel for their rockets to save lives. I don't really have a problem with it in theory. But the idea that this is easy or even possible in the current environment is comical. This isn't a generator you could run an RV off of at Bonnaroo. These are gigantic gas guzzlers.

Did you ever consider for a moment that the sniper referenced in the Doctors Without Borders tweet might be Hamas militant? Do you think that the IDF are the only ones putting civilians in Gaza in harms way?

Genuinely asking a question here and not trying to be asshole but how tf does the IDF classify who is hamas and who is Palestinian because from my POV, IDF is calling anyone who defends themselves at this point hamas.
It reminds me of 2020 USA when ANTIFA was a boogeyman group that consecutive media kept mentioning to scare people. I'm certainly one of the more far left people on this site and never met or even heard of a real group of people calming to be to be Antifia aside from just claiming your an anti fascist.
Meanwhile today if one in Gaza were to protest Isreal's treatment of them, would they automatically be labeled as hamas?

I also want to add, this is why I refuse "condem hamas for it'd actions" because from my POV, Isreal and its supporters are using "Hamas" as a dog whistle that generally means "any Palestinian that speaks out against Isreal" which would be pretty much the majority of Palestine.

Lastly, do Isreal and its supporters really belive they can even defeat Hamas? Like I said, it's less of a group and more of an ideaolgy. If anything the constant killing of Palestinian young adults is just going to cause a major uptick in causes like Hamas and radicalize more youth.

While it's logical that Hamas would use hospitals to protect themselves from a far more advanced military, Israel has never had much independent evidence that this is actually a thing that is happening. At least to the level being stated. You can also find denials from doctors and aid groups that this is happening. We, in fact, don't know if they have a base under Al Shifa. We know that allegations and witness statements point to Hamas using the actual hospital grounds for interrogations and torture in past conflicts. There are also reports of Hamas hiding in medical staff clothing around the hospital. In past wars, there is proof that they've hidden themselves in emergency vehicles. A lot of the more damning statements you can find come from the IDF and the State Department. Neither of whom should be taken at face value.
I think there's enough evidence to suggest they use hospitals. Just to be clear. But the fact is we don't know enough to state that they are using Al Shifa or any other as a base. In my opinion, we certainly don't know enough to justify what's taking place at these locations.
