i think luke combs is one of the friday-sunday headliners hence brad’s tweet, but that we’re still far off on the thursday headliner (and that tracy might have nothing to do with it)
I recently had to sit through a Luke Combs show and it was fine. I def would not think it’d be a super fun Roo show. He did help raise 24.5 million for WNC so he’s cool in my books just not at Roo pweaaseeee.
lol he did have the Avett Bros come out and play Toby Keith’s As Good As I Once Was. So that was something.
Not super relevant to now, but I was just listening to the What Pod and found it interesting that Brad called out Paramore specifically as one of the Bonnaroo bands that they are in talks with yearly now as a "we'll have you whenever you're ready to play." Their socials definitely put a focus on them. Next show will probably be top 3.
Also made me curious who those other bands are as well. MMJ, GIzz, Tame, Griz maybe
He also insinuated this year is more in line with 2019 and 2020 as far as the overall lineup being a better offering rather than having any "very large, blow your mind names... no Paul McCartney."
Also that they will have a few thousand student tickets offered this year that are "way cheaper."
Carpool camping passes will be offered for cars of 3+ people - "significantly cheaper."
