If Bonnaroo gets Luke Combs, I can’t imagine him playing Thursday vs headlining one of the three other nights. He just played the NFL stadium near me and tons of students walk the halls wearing his merch.
Sabrina Carpenter also seems like headliner or not at all with how well this recent tour has gone and how much Short n Sweet has been streamed
Also follow up post I do think if Justice played that they would end up top 5 for me personally.
You talking all time Bonnaroo EDM or for the 2024 festival? I said 7-8 for the festival. But if it turns out I am disinterested in all or the majority of the headliners and subs, they have a shot at cracking the top few. Still got King Gizzard, Goose, Tipper likely a couple of rap shows and maybe Kacey to get through as well as any jazz or technical/shred or other surprises (Nickel Creek? Molly Tuttle?) that could be on the lineup. But they should be good enough to be among all those in the rankings.

Edm artists all time at Roo. PL number 1 easily and if we get Tipper and Justice they’d also be top 5. Prob throw Jamie xx and Gramatik in there to round out the top 5. No order after PL at #1

1. Forgot about the A-Trax show in 2013. SO WILD!!! There were large cardboard cut outs of A-Trax face and they were handing them out, and by this middle of the show, they were flying around the tent and hitting people in the face. Good stuff...lol
That along w the Boyz Noise show that year made the EDM of 2013 incredible.

Then there was the year they couldn't get Derek off the Which Stage , and he spin for almost 6 hours.

2013 was sunrise which, that was my first roo. I know PL did a tent Superman in 2015 but I missed that…think D’Aneglo and Flume were playing around that time. Flume 2015 was so quacking amazing, 2022 I was so disappointed.

If Roo got Justice, would that be the best electronic act they’ve ever booked?
Four Tet comes to mind. Jamie XX but that was full sun up afternoon. Caribou is different but we can count it. Trying to think of other contenders.
Met Elucid from Armand Hammer after their set, we talked for a bit and before he left went “what’s the one set I should check out?” Told him Four Tet and then showed him where the stage was. Reeiterated, best act you’ll hear all day. Hope he made it.
Is there a joke in here about how that set got “rained” out and you ruined his day?
I think Jamie was the best electronic set I've seen there, not counting Darkside and LCD because of guitars. The Justice show I saw at PS (hypothetically on the farm) would be #1 for sure
For me (and i don't go to all of the EDM stuff at Roo) would be an (if they count) STS9 set from 2018 or thereabouts. Their drummer was so badass that night. Just a relentless groove...
LCD Soundsystem (if they count) had a great set in 2017.
