I think this lineup is objectively great. And I will live a mere 2-hour drive away now. But it’s lacking that oomph for me that every lineup of the last few years has offered for me. And the Attack on Titan orchestra concert in LA conflicts with weekend one…
Decisions
Hmm Attack on Titan Orchestra or one of Dudamel's last shows in SoCal amongst everything else at Coachella. I don't think you'll regret missing that AoT show, but I think you will end up watching Coachella from home regretting not going instead. Plus, I feel like if you live in LA/SD there's no reason you should miss Coachella, unless it's really that bad (it never is).

This is a great perspective. Thank you!
Also you did mention it was during one of the weekends, are you unable to go the other weekend? You could always do both!
W2 is definitely superior this year considering the potential conflicts. Sitting here happy knowing I'll be able to collect all the feedback and preview W1 from at home so I can adjust and have way fewer conflicts than y'all W1ers. I do not envy y'all having to navigate the inevitable cluster of set timing that is impending.

I think both weekends will sell out, but you'll likely still be able to grab secondhand for like $400 closer to. I'd lock down the accommodations now though.
There's a zero percent chance both weekends will sell out, for lots of reasons.
What are the reasons?
I just want to know if we need to be in a rush or not to grab these
Worth buying the presale/general sale or do you think these will sell for under face value next year?

I got my hotel booked up previously
But a smaller room, if I get a bigger group we will just have to grab a more expensive villa
You think W2 sells out asap or takes some time?
Also wondering if Amex private sale W2 lasts longer than regular tix
These say "starting at" so I worry the tiers go up soon

I mean, the tradeoff is always the same. W2 will know which sets are the best…but then they’ll be way more crowded than W1 will have to deal with because the uncertainty spreads the crowds out more evenly.

I guarantee that you will have zero issues getting a secondhand ticket for less than cost. You could do this in 2023. Sorry to go against the hype right now but this is not 2023 level.
Yes Amex will be easier to get and have slower moving tiers. But again, you won’t have an issue getting secondhand tickets for less than cost.

I hope you are right
Yes in 2023 I got a ticket for like $340 with a shuttle post fees on stubhub/tickipick like a week or 2 before
But I saw last year that wasnt the case iirc. Maybe it was for around FV post fees or a bit higher, but I forgot

Anyone have last years historical data on resale?
I literally sold tickets for way under face last year because it was selling like complete ass. If you can get tickets under face in 2023. You can get tickets under face in 2025. If you need the piece of mind just grab first tier Amex tickets, but again, I am extremely confident that tickets will go under face and this thing is not going to truly sell out.
We all know GV is going to try and cut things off and say it’s “sold out” at som point, but it will be disingenuous and not indicative of second market.

On second thought, W2 likely won't sell out or if it does it'll sell out closer to the festival meaning you shouldn't have any issue finding tickets under face especially close to the festival. W1 is really the only weekend that will likely sell out with any quickness and have remotely any issue with getting under face value on secondhand markets, if there is any issue at all.
If you have accommodations you're definitely fine to wait, that's the only thing that will be unquestionably gone for both weekends outside of extremely high priced options.

Yeah I'm not excited for how crowded Sammy's set is going to be after the inevitable hype he's going to drive after W1
I’ll genuinely be so sad if they do that. Watching Cudi sitting on the hill smoking a joint while on a microdose was such bliss
was this before or after he broke his leg?
Before, everyone all the way up the hill was on their feet jumping during memories and we didn’t even notice 😭😭 we were literally all dancing then the song ended and we were like “wait that’s the end of the set?”

I would buy tix tomorrow if my group was committed
Gonna probbaly talk it over the weekend and just hope W2 doesnt move up in tiers (god I hate this stupid tier system)
I will wait on buying a shuttle though if needed. I bet that can be had for way under FV

Hoping yall are right
I got hilton garden inn booked for both weekends
Can fit 4 with 2 queens
So can fit 4, maybe 5 if someone wants the floor/sleeping bag
But if I get a big group of 6-8, likely need a villa.

Thats why getting the hilton room with the suite that has the sofa bed is clutch for extra people.

Same AirBnB we booked this year, just me and my partner in a really nice ADU with a pool and all and really chill owners. We rebooked literally right as we left W2 this year lol
