Think the more interesting question isn't Top 10, but:
(A) Artist who is mentioned the most in these lists for street cred that nobody is actually going to in real life (B) Artist who is rarely mentioned in these lists for street cred that many will go to in real life
Regardless my #1 for the whole festival unironically is horsegiirl
It could be a really cool show but I doubt a composer moving from LA to NYC is a momentous occasion for this board.
Just talking about here. Coachella loves to use its regionality. You saw No Doubt being a draw in full effect this year. People who just go to Bowl shows every summer know Dudamel. Its on the same level as going to a Dodger game every summer. You go to the Bowl and likely see the La Phil in some capacity. Its just a way of life. These are the kinds of things Coachella can do so well. And Yo Gabba Gabba is also similar since The Aquabats created it. I expect people crying at either set.
That feeling when Gustavo Dudamel and the LA Phil play Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 6, the ‘Pathétique’, at Coachella

I've always wondered what supre would sound like in a k-hole

My answer to A is whatever bottom line artist gets a 1 or 2 pm set on Saturday or Sunday. We'll see how much y'all really care about seeing HAAi or GEL or underscores or whatever undercard darling is getting hyped if it actually means getting your ass in the festival grounds before 3pm after a full night of Coachella

(A) Sets at the Top 10 by the BROs of Inforoo (B) Sets at Sahara because they are in real life BROs posting at Inforoo
Craziest pre Thanksgiving work week of my life but finally sitting down, cracking a beer and digging into the lineup. Top 10 without a ton of research
1. The Prodigy 2. Lady Gaga 3. Darkside 4. Beth Gibbons 5. Green Day 6. Travis Scott 7. The Original Misfits 8. Gustavo Dudamel & LA Phil (Only if he plays Duel of the Fates) 9. Basement Jaxx 10. Above & Beyond
I think this is genuinely the only list that looks remotely different from everybody elses. Congrats on being different in a sea of convergent hipsters.
I joined the Coachella forums in 2009 excited for The Killers & Bloody Beetroots. I’m not new to this. I’m true to this.
