parts of north carolina are delightful. parts of north carolina are hellish. i did own a charlotte hornets starter jacket as a child, but the hurricanes should still be the Whalers, goddamn it
we've been denied Brass Bonanza for two decades now. an unforgivable sin.
NC has to go between Vermont and Arkansas, and I think it's probably a bit closer to Arkansas than Vermont (and not just geographically)
Asheville and the whole area around it puts it in the top 10. The Raleigh/Durham area is also pretty cool. Wilmington and the Outer Banks. I’m going 8.

Im on 12. I’d definitely take it over Vermont, but that ship has sailed. Discovered this year that Charlotte is actually sick on top of NC being beautiful with nearly ideal weather. If the Carolinas were combined and you have Charleston and Charlotte in the same state it’d be very formidable.

I didn’t even mention Charlotte because it doesn’t seem very exciting to me. We go to shows there but for some reason we don’t ever do anything else there. I’m sure there are things to do but we always get in and get out.

It's cool. Turned into everything Jacksonville, FL was supposed to when the NFL made a bet on both cities in the 90s.
I am not invested enough in this survivor to care too much but it doesn't seem like there is even consensus criteria on how people are voting.
Is it a state you'd want to live in where you are retired and financially independent? A state where you are just out of college and you're starting a career? Are you averaging the good and the bad parts of the state? Charlotte/Raleigh and rural NC vary pretty widely.
It kinda feels like people are just cherry-picking their favorite parts of the state.

North Carolina is the first state i ate Cookout in. i couldn't believe i could get a corndog as a side dish with my burger, and so many milkshake options. Easy #2.
per inforoo survivor Cookout is superior to Long John Silver's, White Castle/Krystal, Hardee's/Carl's Jr, Burger King, Sonic, Checker's/Rally's, Krispy Kreme, Panda Express, Dairy Queen, Starbucks, Arby's, and Steak & Shake.

Well Georgia is first state I ate Cookout in so I guess we are going to have to fight. See you at the Ferris Wheel.

rest are fine but this one is kinda absurd
I actually agree, Panda is great. I felt like I was the only Panda defender in that survivor, where were you my guy
