ive found you dont need to buy new ones. these things take a beating. mine made it through several festivals and 2 years of everyday use and they were still in great shape, until i lost one of them at all good. and my new pair has been through alot since ive got them and have no signs of wear either. best shoes ive ever owned. and the perfect festival shoe. i had tevas but they sucked when they got muddy. the grit would rub under the staps. i left them in a huge pile of crappy footwear that was left next to the croc stand at roo and got crocs.
now all i need is croc snow boots
since these are waterproof wouldn't they work just as well for snow? just get them big enough to add a big fuzzy sock! ;D

I too swear by my crocs. I bought them pre roo 06 and still wear them ALL the time! They are the most comfortable footwear I've ever owned and they have NO wear at all.

holy crap ive never seen those before. those would work perfectly. i wear my crocs in the winter with heavy socks but only if its dry. and weve got a foot and a half of snow so i cant wear them out. im gonna have to check those out. thanks!!
Ya...I'll be dustin' off my crocs for this year again!!!
Also- for any girls here who may care- My local TJ Maxx had some cute Keane Mary Janes for $25.00!!! If you've ever looked at Keanes or owned them, they are usually around $100.00. Very, very comfortable shoes.

Many of the crocs like girly. What ones do you recommend for a) guys and b) for something like Roo (either walking in mud or being in a pit)
Also, what other shoes would be good to check out? All my summer shoes either don't have a flap for my heel or are too new and expensive to get all dirty.

I feel pretty damn masculine in my black Caymans.
After looking at the site I finally came accross those...good choice...I may have to pick up a pair, since I hear it can get pretty muddy in some places
agreed. the first time i saw them i thought ill never wear rubber clogs. but then my sandals destroyed my feet at roo and the croc tent was just too tempting. best footwear purchase i have ever made. and once they went on they rarely come off. even rockin the socks and crocs this winter when its dry! you wont care what they look like after you walk a bonnaroo mile in them.
I love birks, I have a pair I wear year round (and got caught a few times with very cold/wet feet when it snowed during the day). Sometimes I can find them at Gabriel Brothers for $20 a pop. Gabe's is a discount store, so if you have any in your area check their shoes out once in a while. I found some croc-style birks but since there's no ventilation they squeak when you walk.
I know some folks with crocs and I'll definitely be investing in a pair.
We treat mishaps like sinking ships and I know that I don't want to be out to drift Well I can see it in your eyes like I taste your lips and They both tell me that we're better than this
just bought my first pair.....light blue mary janes......they're super comfortable!!! i can't wait to wear them at roo.....and probably everyday before roo too!!!
Yeah, I'v been pushing against the croc thing since they got popular... but I think its finally time to give in. If 60 year old hippies can wear them to the roo, then so can I.

i'm a guy so i'm reluctant to get crocs, but damn, they look so comfy
When my girlfriend gave me mine before last year's Roo, I told her she wasted her time and money. I didn't think that I would ever wear them at Bonnaroo or anywhere else. That being said, after I wore them for a couple of days, I fell in love with them. I, almost, never take them off. They are so comfortable that I can't imagine EVER doing Roo without them. They're comfortable, light-weight, well-ventilated and easy to clean. They're almost made for Bonnaroo but, i've worn mine all winter. They are great!
Crocs makes flip flops!!!! Me and my fiance never take them off in the summer. I refused to buy the clogs they make but when I saw flip flops I jumped all over that!!! Check sports stores instead of shoe stores for these.
I do love my Tevas, I've been working a canoe livery job every summer for the last 5 years, and every day that I've worked, I've had my Tevas on, they just keep on going! They look 6 months old. But I believe that crocs are more comfortable.
i love my crocs so much i just bought another pair to wear at work....used to wear birkinstocks to work but the crocs are so much lighter and even more comfy, which is important because i'm on my feet for most of my 12 hour shift!
