We were all the way out in Goldmember. 30 minute walk, but so worth it b/c it was really quiet at night, and there wasn't much traffic going by (if any). You had to walk up this slight hill, and then back down it to our camp, so it was almost like our site was down in a little valley. There were trees on either side of us, and our neighbors totally rocked.
I was out in the James Bond section too!!! All the way at the end to the right I believe. Real quiet at night, the shakedown nearby was not bad but it was more like a 20 min walk for me (but I'm tall and fast).
"Man and his deed are two distinct things...a good deed should call forth approbation a a wicked deed disapprobation, the doer of the deed, whether good or wicked, always deserves respect or pity as the case may be. 'Hate the sin and not the sinner' is a precept which, though easy enough to understand, is rarely practicsed (sic), and that is why the poison of hatred spreads in the world." -Ghandi
we were in camp Marty McFly...very sick spot, only a 5min walk and you were in the middle of shakedown, another 10 and you were in centeroo. The only down side was we got put right behind the port-o-potties but surprisingly we didnt smell them really, maybe a good wiff here and there but thats it. We hated our spot at first but then when we walked around and sall how close we were, we felt pretty luckey!!

I camped at a hotel...best decision I ever made! When I was sweaty and disgusting after Radiohead...I went back to the room and jumped in the sweet sweet shower.
Camp Inforoo in Shooter McGavin, a tent away from the shade tent (and the baby flag). Great place, so close to Centeroo and not too far from Shakedown/POD3.
Camp Clark Griswald. A little bit of a trek but not too bad.
Hey I was there too. Where abouts were you???
That is where we were. We camped at the entrance to griswald, to the right in the shade near the trees. I had the blue and white shade canopy that so many people made their home in the evenings while we were out.
I was in Goldmember too, right in the middle. Long walk, but nice and quiet late at nite, lots of cool neighbors, and no dust at all.
In the middle? I was pretty close to the middle, too. What did your setup look like? We had like the biggest f*cking tent out there, with our own potty. Everyone kept calling it "The Castle".

we had one of those really cheap white canopies that our 3 tents hung out under along with two more groups of people who were camped nearby who joined us most of the time. I was near a huge effin tent that even had a doggie door.

We were in Clark Griswold as well. We had a big flag that said "growlbacky falls" on it, but the wind snapped our PVC pipe on Friday night, and it was no more.
Camp Happy Gilmore, pretty much right on the corner of the camp, next to the intersection of 2nd Ave and East 1st St. We could see the Inforoo flag from our tent.
We made a sweet ass flag and flagpole...the flag had a 1up mushroom on one side and a yellow star on the other from the Mario games, and we painted the PVC green (get it?), but the piping was just too thick and we couldn't really hammer it into the ground. Ah well.
So were we! Straight across from the porta potties near that tree everyone had tarps on. That spot was freaking perfect. We had our own mini shakedown, toilets, and it was like a cigarettes walk to centeroo. I am so shooting for that arrival time next year (1-2 pm thurs).

shooter mcgavin, right on 3rd ave
we had the michigan flag and were right next to the Conscious Flowz canopy - they were awesome and are a great cause. check them out at consciousflowz.org
We were somewhere in the Austin Powers section too, just north of Pete Rose Way. We had a yellow Sinbad/Ghostbusters flag, and a ton of room next to us. There was a big pile of dirt/stricks and they didnt put anybody there, so we only had neighbors on one side and about 20' x 20' worth of space to our right.
I took some pictures early Saturday morning after getting back from Sasha.

honkey donkeyg Dr. Evil or some nuts. BFE, like an hour walk at least from Centeroo. Probably more. I was usually too fucked up to time how long it took.
