Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Dont sleep in a rest area, if you're coming from the north stop at the hotel i manage in cookeville, its about 70 miles away and i can get you a nice room for $35 including tax an all
I found a cool way to stay rested and see new shows at the same time that I recomend. If there is a show you really wanna see in a tent later in the day get to that tent an hour or so befor the show starts and get a good spot on the rail. See whatever is playing befor that show, plus being on the rail means you can sit between shows and lean on the rail. Great way to have energy for latenights.
I think I like the idea of getting up early and taking a nap somewhere at Centeroo. If you see some lil kid napping on a big leather backpack, that'd be me!
if you get split up with your group and you can't reach them on a cellphone give up and see the stuff you want to, you wont find them. Also set up REAL landmarks to meet people at don't just say meet me at the show and I'll be in the back it doesn't work man. Also don't buy so much damn lemonade

You should never get into an argument at Bonnaroo, it can really kill the mood. Disagreements are fine, if its late at night and your friends want to see a show and you want to see another, dont argue about it, just meet up with them later. Negative energy at Bonnaroo sucks.
I'm a first timer myself, but I can give a handy tip I've picked up. If you feel yourself dozing at the wheel, and you fear you won't make it to the next rest stop, open up your window and hold a $20 out. Hopefully, the fear of dropping it will keep you awake long enough to get to a safe spot where you can take a nap.
I was lying in a burned out basement With the full moon in my eyes. I was hoping for replacement When the sun burst thru the sky. There was a band playing in my head And I felt like getting high.

the lemonade from the carts gets progressively more watered down as the weekend goes on
i imagine they only have one vat of lemonade on the whole farm, and as it depletes they just keep adding water to it...that's what it tastes like at least
Bring a propane camp stove or something similar. There's nothing like eating eggs or hot camping food while your buddies are fiddling with slices of bread and trail mix for breakfast. In the same vein, eat breakfast before you leave camp! It will save you from getting way too hungry in Centeroo and just unloading for some expensive food.
That being said, eat one meal in Centeroo that costs over $8. You probably deserve it.
Bring a hat and sunglasses.
Make sure your tent is waterproof! It can never be perfect, but having a tarp underneath and the rain fly on will save you a lot of trouble if it does rain. I know it gets really hot with that fly on, but you'd rather be hot than wet. I guarantee it.
Just go crazy at a Silent Disco session. You'll feel awesome the rest of the night.

The festival food may be expensive but most of it comes in huge portions. $10 for a burrito sounds steep until you see it - you can make two meals out of it or split it with a friend. And don't miss the chance to get a deep fried Milky Way candy bar after nommin' on some kind corn. Yummmmmy!

lol, I said the exact same thing to my friend in '06.

I was a lemonade connoisseur last year and here's my notes:
Minute Maid frozen lemonade is tasty but you'll be thirsty as hell when you finish it, its not really refreshing aside from being cold. Refrain from it if possible.
The cheapest that I found was $3 a cup in by What Stage over at the pizza stand that was by the connector from the Which-What stages. Just the stuff from powder, not the tastiest but you know what you're getting. It's solid the whole weekend.
The frozen/crushed ice lemonades are good on Thursday, but like it was mentioned, by Sat/Sun they're straight water and you're getting ripped off.
The ones that they serve from the 55 gallon drums are ok, not the best, not the worst, but they are a bit pulpy - mine had some remnants of seeds and a bit of peel ground up which turned me off a bit.
i as a survivor of sexual assault am curious of why you would post this?? have you actually heard that this happens, do you know someone that this has happened too?? or do you just enjoy insulting as many people as possible??
i do not fear for my personal safety at bonnaroo and i think your message is completely unfounded and unnecessary.
that being said, all people of bonnaroo should try to keep their wits about them or at least have someone around who is doing so...

Battery-powered fans right now at my Big Lots for $15 dollars. Lasts 72 hours with batteries!
I agree about getting to a show early and just lounging. On Sunday last year, saw The Lee Boys because I got up front early and wanted to see Robert Randolph. I loved both of those sets. Bring water with you EVERYWHERE! Staying hydrated keeps you energized. Beer will dry you out fast so be careful.
Stay away from excessive caffeine when it is hot. Caffeine dries you out faster and will cause heat exhaustion quicker.

there's a difference between goldbond foot powder and body powder? i didn't know it even came in two varieties! and armadillos you say? i've never had the pleasure of seeing one. I mean, I defeated the army-dillo in donkey kong 64, but that's about as close as I've come.

Karma for the Army-dillo. Makes we wish I still had my N64.
You know, with all the talk of it being so hot at Bonnaroo, I think it's important to remind people it can get downright chilly at night. I woke up in FLEECE PAJAMAS absolutely freezing one night. Bring something warm to sleep in!
