Hello, this is my first post on Inforoo, and it will be my first Bonnaroo. This campsite idea seems really awesome, I would be honored to be put on the list. I'll be posting here more that I've discovered this place. The name is Byron btw.

My wife is graduating in May. Going through school has been hard for her as she was diagnosed with MS. We wanted to have a graduation party for her but it was either a graduation party or Bonnaroo. We chose Bonnaroo. This is where I hope all you wonderful people would help. Would the camp inforoo people help us in celebrating as we won’t know anyone at Bonnaroo? From what I have read in the post inforoo camp doesn’t really need a reason to celebrate. We will be staying in the Access camp ground. So would like to stop by for a party if possible. I can bring some beer and other alcohol. This will be our first roo
i'm sure that won't be a problem...there are already a couple of get together's planned anyhow, the brunch may be a good time to have it, here's the thread: bonnaroo.proboards21.com/index.cgi?board=logistics&action=display&thread=1173399895 i think there's a late night get together planned too somewhere.... Karma to your wife for graduating!!!

Hey I stayed at Camp Inforoo last time and everyone was so nice so I'd love to stay again, if not to late, I'll be traveling with one more. And please let me know if I should bring anything (sorry a bit to lazy right now to go through the full thread)
Hey everyone. Brian here. Add me to the list. Last year was my first Bonnaroo and I stayed at Camp Inforoo. Good decision! Great location, less walking and fun people. Here are some pics from 06.

I will use my first post to say that I will most definitely be there as I am camping in tent only. Green tent, yellow Inforoo shirt. My name is Justin. Hope to meet you all there.
Some thoughts about Camp Inforoo For those who don't know me, I've coordinated the past two tent only groups before LIGuy took the reins, I think he's doing a fine job getting this year's group together, especially considering how large it has gotten. I just have a couple of thoughts based on my experience. The first rule of fight clubCamp Inforoo: Make friends. The second rule of fight clubCamp Inforoo: Make friends. PLEASE don't just hang out at your own little area! The biggest regret I had last year was when afterwards people said that they didn't feel welcome at the main camp. Join the group! If the first time you come to say “hi” you get dumb looks, it's probably because the people your talking to are STONED AS HELL, not because they don't like you!! Really, please don't take it personally, I'm terrible remembering names and faces, and that's when I'm straight! I really ripped me up when I heard that Inforooers felt unwelcome in the camp last year. There will probably be a central chillin out spot in the camp again this year, pull up a chair (if no one is sitting in it, it's yours, if there's no free chairs, bring one over!) and join the conversation, or just sit there and listen, whatever! We are all brothers and sisters; there is no place that it's more true than 'roo. No one is going to drag you out of your tent and make you join the party, that doesn't mean you're not invited. OK, I've ranted enough.

Well, I will not be in the Tent Only section, but I would love to meet some you guys. This board has been so helpful with a bunch of stuff. This will be my third year at bonnaroo, but it still is nice to hear what other people have to say!

thats when you gotta take out a glowstick (this even works during the day), wave it around wildly, stick out your tongue and go "bbbblll-llluhhh-llluuuhh-lllluhhh!!!" it has YET to fail me as the perfect icebreaker at a festival ;D
karma for the side-splitting chuckle leo, you the man
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!
I think also too the people who came Thursday came at a time when we are still getting to know each other. I think this year will go a little smother for those of us who have met each other and will welcome the new Inforoosters that we haven't met yet. Deffiently don't be shy though...you might miss out on an experience if you don't hang around.

Good to see I wasn't the only one posting pics from last year.

I wish we could have some sort of (extremely cool ones of course) name tags, ribbons, suggestions? with our inforoo ID and our real names on them. I am not so gifted when it comes to remembering names, especially when under the influence of 'roo goodies! Anyone else have trouble with the names?
A couple people mentioned this last year with the name tags..I have to put this on my list of things to pick up. Thanx for reminding me
camp inforoo is going to be like meeting up with long lost friends for me, even tho i really don't 'know' anyone and its my first Roo! i can't wait!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
edit: i'm not really sure why i quoted li on this post.....

I've sent in my application to the Real World. So I'm hoping to hear back from that. I'm putting A LOT of my eggs into that basket, the MTV basket. I'm also thinking about getting a gun, and dealing crack. Being a crack dealer. Not like a mean crack dealer, but like... like a nice one. Kinda friendly like, "hey, what's up guys? Want some crack?"

It's all good sunshine! i agree with LI tho, you might need some management---remember 80s night @ McMillans with "drunk pat" good times!
Hello everyone! This will be my first Roo, too. I'm flying in and travelling alone. Might I join you? The information in the threads has been priceless, i really appreciate all your advice and wisdom. Thanks!
