Now, this is totally from fuzzy memory, but I think dinner was 6 or 7. And I think it was 8 or so when the VIP entertainment started because it was dusk. I don't remember being cut-off of the free beer at all. I think the hospitality tent closes at midnight.
You know the best thing about being in VIP? I actually get to hug you guys when I meet you!! I rarely even shake hands with people living in GA after the second day. Can you tell I'm a germ-phobe?

So now that it is official that I'm going, I wish to join Camp Inforoo. I got a PM about it, and said I was interested. I wish I could have been at Camp Inforoo last year, but things went batty for my group and me. I can't wait to see you all there!
I wanted to share with the oter camp inforoo VIP's.....I have been gathering anything extra that I can round up for camp from work. I am in the convenience store business and have access to lots of items from conveniance stores. So far this week I have gathered up Reese's big cups w/nuts 1 box, Wonka bars 1 box, about 20 packs of gum, lighters, 2 cases of Jolt energy drink, 12 bottles of Metro mint water. Blue raspberry soda and orange mango soda.
I will keep gathering the next 2 weeks and should have a lot of stuff to share at Camp. I do this every year and most people enjoy all the different crap that I bring.
Only 2 more weeks......Ugh how am I going to make it.
I am totally up for camp inforoo!!!We will be driving down from Allgood TN that morning...I am not sure what exact time...but it will be early! We have a huge RV with ez ups and a canopy. I am so ready to be there! I can barely work!
I have a question....How strict is the NO GLASS rule in VIP? are we going to have to strip the RV clean of all drinking glasses in the cabinets and everything??

Hi everyone. I was lucky to track down vip tix for my girlfriend and I just recently. Shhh, it's a surprise. Her 30th b-day is June 14th.
We're Bonnaroo virgins from Calgary. This site has helped paint a picture where there was a blur before. Thanks a ton for that. Helps to be prepared.
As these things are so much more fun if you can share the experience with other people, I hope we get to meet you all and be a part of the Inforoo-vaganza.
Sounds like there's some kind of pre-meeting and caravan to coordinate a group camping spot. Unfortunately for us, we'll be landing in Nashville airport around 3pm on the 14th. I can't see the rental car getting us to the site before 5pm. So we can't be part of this pre-meeting. Hopefully this won't hurt our chances of hanging out with you guys whether or not we get a campsite closeby.
After reading this thread, I look forward to discussing music, tasty beers, and the Toronto Maple Leafs as well as all the other activities I'm expecting and not expecting.

One question: do you have the ability to send out text messages to everyone on the list at one time? That might be a great way to keep everyone on the same page, esp. at the meet-up spot in the morning (likely the Holiday Inn Express).

Well my work phone may be able to do something fancy like that, I'll look into it. However several people expressed that they didn't really want to be committed to a specific meetup time, so this is where I thought the flyer would come in hand. Those who will be staying/arriving Wed. night I assume will be tailgating in the lot and can get flyers to place on their dashboard, for those arriving later I'd like to leave the flyer at the sign-in table. The spreadsheet is color coded to give you an idea of people who who will be arriving in your time frame (Before 9:00, 9-12, 12-5). Look for the people at the secret location with flyer and caravan in togather. If you don't see anyone with a flyer proceed to the campground and locate all the campers with Camp Inforoo flyer(this may not be so easy with RV's) on their dashboard but at least you'll recognize who is part of the group and I think there was talk of a flag. Last but not least call someone in your timeframe or call those of us already there, we will show you the way home.
OK.....just don't know what to expect, once we get to that lot.
Also, the mass-texting thing might be good for announcing get-togethers (Brunch, Meet-ups etc.). The GA Camp Inforoo is already debating texting vs. phone trees. Personally, I think both groups should be on the same grouping, since I'll bet that a lot of us VIP'ers will be going over to GA Camp Inforoo quite a bit. But at the very least, it might be nice to have one person in VIP on the GA list, and that person forward the message to the VIP'ers.

ditto, is this only for people who know when they're arriving/will be caravaning? either way i'm sure i'll see most of you at some point in the weekend
Think about it, right now in two weeks time, we will have all been having a good time just finishing up with the VIP party and getting loaded on free beer and good times.

Yea. I checked on that thread but it seems they couldn't find a workable solution other than someone mentioned he would have his laptop and try to find hotspots for texting.
If you can get the texting to work I think its a great idea!!!
