schuppj,
ticket sales used to be forbidden on this site, but apparently that is no longer the case within some tight guidelines. rumor has it that Superfly is actually telling people to come to this board to buy and sell extras. here is the thread to other people in your boat. Be sure you follow the rules set forth by the moderators.

VIP tickets have been made the exception since they are only sold in pairs so solo rooers needs help either picking up a single or getting rid of the extra.

Yuengling is my beer of choice for the Roo...It is surprising how hard it is to get it outside of PA. I will be bringing a few cases
It is hard to find! We have this mega Liqour store and they can't get it. The manager at the store says it has to do with their distribution. I have only tried the lager, is their other beer any good. I brought back 10 case last July and had a party. Everybody loved it. I have thought about a road trip but that would be about a 6 hour drive to the PA border.

You mean Yuengling - the oldest American brewery? It's brewed right in PA... I'm shocked you can't get it in Ohio!
I just moved out of Columbia, SC. I could get Yuengling there and it was quite popular at 'roo last year, but I can't get it in Chicago. They only distribute up and down the east coast, that's it. quite sad. the website says their distribution is limited b/c they can't produce enough to make it nationwide, even though they know they have nationwide interest.
So guys let's combine these great ideas and meet up for some late night yeungling beer pong!!! this will be my first VIP year and so i figured i try a night of drinking can anyone gimme any other heads up for whats in store for VIP????

Hello fellow ROOsters.
As I type, I'm sitting up here in Canada battling a brutal snow and windstorm, and daydreaming about the beautiful hot Tennessee sun. We're (my better half, myself, and brother in-law & his wife) heading down for our 3rd straight year, and decided to go all out try the VIP side of life. I think being in the 40's is catchin' up with me, can't seem to get in the amount of partying my body asks for, needs, and requires, while I'm doin' that 40+ minute walk from camp to Centeroo. So we're going the luxury route this year, and certainly looking forward to hopefully meeting up with some of you nice people on the board here, and having a few toasts! Y'all seem really down to earth, and your posts have really helped me decide to try out VIP....oh....and also helped me convince the others that the price is right!....lol
p.s. yes I am a little slow tonight....lol.....but how in the heck to I get an image up under my name? thanx! (and yes....I'm in for beer pong if you need more contestants!)

Bonarooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
We're coming from Toronto ourself, being first timers to Bonnaroo and going VIP. Plan on checking out the only Canadian act I know of so far - Sam Roberts? I know I will
What are we all going to do for the next couple of months?
Don't know for sure, but I bet I'll leave about a thousand posts on these threads . . .
I'm glad to hear there are some beer pongists among us. I'll bring some of the beer, and the ping pongs (but to be on the safe side I'll need someone to give me a friendly reminder ).

Leafsfan: We're coming from north of T.O. - but still big Leaf fans also! If there are no conflicts, I will probably check out Sam Roberts. Just so you know, there is 1 other performer with a Canadian passport - Feist...she is definitely worth checking out (she also plays with Broken Social Scene)
Schuppj: I'll definitely bring some good microbrew Canadian beer for pong....if I can swap for some good micro American suds!
Ticktrix: Thanx for the link....thats where I got all my ammunition a few weeks back to convince my group to try the other side of the fence after 2 years of battling the walk....the dust...the mud....the dirty loos....the "i can't open my car door more then 1 foot"....etc! Oh....u might be just the perfect person to help this inept message board newbie...considering u have over 600 posts....lol.....how do i get my jpeg or avatar or whatever the doohickey thingy under your name is called?....lol......cheers!
My friend Tim, and I (Jon), are going VIP this year! We're both only 18, but after going in on Bushy Branch last year (first year) and having a 45+ minute walk to Centeroo, we both scrounged up some money and decided to go VIP regardless of the lineup.
Nonetheless, the lineup is plenty to our liking and we'll be more than happy to take part in any Inforoo VIP activities. So, so excited for this year due to VIP. Planning on seeing a hell of a lot more music, and carrying around a lot less with me all day. I seriously cannot wait.
Oh well, just announce The Volta already and then I'll just sit by idly for the next few months...

Couldn't agree more with you on Mars Volta. It was one crazily insane latenight show 2 years ago...I still have flashbacks of the combo of music and lights...very impressive indeed.
