Question: How fast does the "Camping Only" area fill up. I was wondering if it's more feasable to get there super early(weds night), and walk from BFE to "camping Only"; as opposed to getting there at 8AM thurs and getting BFE possibly, and walking to a full Camping Only area. I'm driving there, but I don't want to camp near my van.I also don't care much for being far away from my van at all, even BFE.
^^^^they will not let you into Tent Only on Wednesday night - if you drive in Wednesday night and are out in BFE - you will have to camp by your vehicle and then get up - pack up and hike over to Tent Only
I'm trying to plan my setup, and I need an opinion...or two. I'm thinking about getting a EZ Up and running some shade screens away from the sides instead of tarps. Possibly a tarp in there somewhere too...or tapestries to liven up the decor.
I figure the shade screens would allow a breeze rather than blocking it like a tarp. Whatdya think?

Hey...first time at Bonnaroo. I was wondering if i could bring my hookah? It's in perfectly "legal" condition. I could care less if any Bonnaroo patrol would want to test it...its more like, I want to bring it because its a fun time for all. Thanks!

I wasn't sure where to post this but I was doing a yahoo search for Bonnaroo pictures and I saw some ladies who had umbrellas for shade. I think that is such a wonderful idea especially since umbrellas are so compact. In your past experiences have you seen many people with umbrellas being used for shade purposes?
It's all good until your blocking someones view. I think they're a great idea just be courteous of others.
I may be remembering wrong - but I thought they had restrictions on bringing umbrellas into Centeroo. Anybody know for sure?? If I am wrong - it would be invaluable to have while waiting for shows to start on the What or Which stage. Just make sure you put it away once the show starts.
No umbrellas in Centeroo except those silly personal hat thingys...unless you sneak them in via VIP...I think I saw a few peeps do that....would be nice but yeah, the blocking of view and how careless people are with them folded up walking around...I got hit in the head with several at jazz fest by people just not paying attention to what they were doing LOL!
Dude, I seriously can't concentrate on anything but bonnaroo right now. . .It's to the point where I'm poking myself in the eye with foreign objects. . . I think I just need to be sedated until Tuesday. . . . Dystopian Dream
Three quick questions for y'all: 1. How long is the wait for the Garnier Showers on avg about midday? (Very specific but I'm debating buying a shower shelter myself) 2. Are there provided receptacles for Cigarette butts and such?( Pondering buying a portable ashtray) 3. I am diabetic, and prone to spontaneous trips to the hospital, and I was wondering what the medical tents are like there? Haven't heard much about them, and I am quite curious as to how they work with insurance and all that jazz

1st question I have no answer for - but have read that they run out of shampoo/copnditioner so bring your own
2nd question - there are trash cans all over the place but not ashtrays - wither bring a portable anstray or use a platic baggie for butts

Can I reiterate the question on how quickly Tent-Only fills up? I got there super-early last year, but would rather try to avoid the walk from BFE by arriving a little later this time.

Question- is there any way to charge a cell phone or something? I'm sharing a car with a ton of people so car charger isn't really an option. Are there any outlets near campsites or anything?
yea i plan on going the speed limit...but i just want to make sure that when i get there and they find beer during car inspections if they will card us or anything of that sort?

The Bonnaroo volunteers that inspect your car won't card you.

They usually have a tent in Centeroo where you can charge your phone. They haven't announced it yet this year (AFAIK) but I assume it'll be there again.

So if I'm in the normal camping area with my car, and there are 2-3 of us, would a 6 person tent be too big for the sace they provide? and if i go with the 6 person tent can i still fit an easy-up cover tent for the time i spend just relaxing back at the site during the day? i don't want to take up too much space but also want to be comfortable.

So here's the deal, me and my buddy are doing it up festival style while two other buddies are VIPin it. what are the chances of us getting camp sites anywhere near each other? how does that whole thing work out? i'm guessing we're probably not going to be within 30 minutes of them, but I don't know the setup.
