just bought the rest of my stuff...dropped like $180 and just stood there in amazement of how little i actually got... but it was all necessity and next year i'll be set....still have to get my food....by the time i get there, my spending cash is gonna be down to like $40! CRAZYNESS I can't wait!!!!!
I'm sorry to ask more on camping space but...there are four of us traveling in one vehicle and another joining us from the airport (5 total). I don't want to be a dick and use too much space; would we be ok with an EZ up, a 3 man tent and a 5 man tent? I'm afraid that would be something like 18' by 20' which is waaaay more than they say you'll get. And I don't want to crowd our neighbors. Any thoughts?
^^I had that problem one night. My suggestion would be to remember your pod number or street corner, first and foremost. Also, it really helps to have a large, recognizable flag hoisted at your campsite. Trust me on this one.
lets say i was 17 and my brother was 18... 19 end of june... idk if that matters or notbut could we go alone or would we need guardians or something to come?

Go to the bathroom on Sunday night if you can because on Monday am you will wake up to find 90% of the porta pottys tipped over leaving the remainning well over used . A camel back is number one camping item you should pack .
quick question for somebody coming by flight. I live in toronto and was going to fly to nashville and rent a car. Only problem i'm having is that i don't know what i'm going to do about tent and all the accessories needed. Anybody know how to get the tent and everything there, don't know if i can take much on the plane. Is there a place nearby that i can pick up some accessories

My suggestion would be to get off in Murfreesboro (Exit 78) and go to Walmart. It's about 30 miles before Roo so traffic won't be too bad and they'll have everything in one place.
Or there's a Super Target in Smyrna (Exit 66B). I personally like Target stuff better but either way

The headliners are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Probably something like 8:30 or 9 until 11:30. I think I've heard that Springsteen is going to be Sunday night, but I'm not sure if that's definite. Someone else might know more.
Early Sunday morning.....probably not too likely. It's not impossible that you might end up on the edge and be able to get out, but I'd say it's very unlikely. Definitely not something you should plan on. It's usually possible to get out later in the day Sunday since there are always people leaving then so they can go to work the next day.

As my Inebriated buddy walks out of the Porto, he yells out, "Dude...I love this place...bonnaroo thinks about everything...they even put beer holders next to the toilet!"
Had to break it to him that that was the urnal. Good times good times!

For those who haven't gotten the email or looked, Phish will have a special late night set Friday nigt, and will close the festival out Sunday night. Bruce will be on Saturday night.
I left last year around around 3-4 on sunday afternoon and had no problems. If you can't fit your way through, usually your neighbors are more than willing to help however they can. Someone from my group last year had to leave Friday afternoon after finding out his grandmother had gotten sick.
Okay first timer (actully asking questions for a bunch of us going for the first time)
A lot of my friends and I are using Bonnaroo for a reunion so we're coming from all over the country. Some of my friends are diving from Boston, but there are a handfull of us flying in to Nashville.
How can we all camp together not using tent only? Or would it be best for us to all meet up at the airport and drive in together? Three of us have to work Tuesday and are flying home, if i dont use the shuttle from the airport can I use it to get back (I really don't mind paying 70 bucks to not miss a flight). I had to work the day after coventry, and after 14 hrs trying to get out followed by a 10 hr drive i had to be at work unshowered and delerious... a funny story now, that day, not so much.
Thanks for this thread, the info on grills, tiki torches, whiskey in a plastic bottle (BTW Old crow comes in a handle for like 13 bucks and it's really the burbon FTW). It makes me happy to know that other people are helping out dummies like myself with these questions. swing by our campground for grilled cheese with garlic. wang

Hi all, total newbie to Bonnaroo this year. First of all, thanks for this guide. Great advice. I do have a questions though, so I'm sorry if I missed this being addressed in the 9 pages that I just kind of skimmed over..
-Can you buy parking passes to enter and leave the festival each day? My friends and I have a hotel room (granted, rather far away..) and would like to use it, but if there's no passes/options for situations like these, we're willing to just camp. If there is an option for this, where can I find these passes or information on this subject?
Yeah, you can be a day parker. I don't think you get a cheaper ticket at all, and you probably have to walk from a parking lot in BFE, but you can definitely sleep in a hotel room. I would just camp though, more convenient.

Ok, cool. Thanks! I've already gotten my tickets and everything, I wasn't looking for a cheaper way. I'm just curious as to what you need, if anything, to be a day parker. Do I need a pass for that? Or do I just pay to get into the day-by-day parking lot?
First Time VIP question..................Anybody know how they fill the VIP lots/campsites? Front (by the What Stage) to back (furthest away from stages)???? Just trying to figure out the best time to arrive....Wednesday late night or Thursday morning? Any experts know?

Last year I went with a group of friends, some 18 some 17, it doesn't matter to 'roo really.

I have some questions: 1. How much beer are you allowed to bring in? I have read conflicting reports on this. Is it 3 cases per person or 1 case per person? 2. Are you allowed to bring regular camp chairs to Centeroo stages or no? 3. Are you allowed to bring filled camelbaks into Centeroo stages or no? Again I have read conflicting things -- I know sealed water bottles are allowed but was wondering if I should bring my camelbak thanks

3 per person--NO GLASS
2. Are you allowed to bring regular camp chairs to Centeroo stages or no?
No they must have small back and set low to the ground... but depending on who is working the line they wont let bring it what is allowed..

This again is depending on who is working centeroo gate. I have got in and I have been told to empty it.
