they are a touch small, but I think the bigger size would have been HUGE, so I am happy with the decision.
I got a pair of burgundy crocs, and yeah, I have some of those little snap on things coming too, just two, a green flower and a purple peace sign. I have only had these shoes for ten minutes, and I love them already!
wooo hoo - glad you like them - I walked around the store in some the other day and fell in love - I don't car how ugly they are - but still cannot justify the money
I bought some Crocs as an impulse buy a few days back. I've worn them two or three times, and I can't believe how comfortable they are! They run big for me, though, as I mentioned earlier (I'm normally a 7.5 or 8, and I'm in a small).
They look really dorky, but what the hell.
So I will have Tevas and Crocs--how trendy and materialistic can you get?
I was just Googling for a product I'd seen somewhere--a "shampoo" that comes in a bathing-cap-type thing; you put it on your head and massage it in and then you're all clean, supposedly--when I found this very funny photo piece about someone setting up a shampoo stand at Burning Man:
You girls might want to stop by there if you're looking for some very cheaply priced bonaroo-able clothing. They had some very cute tops, I was just looking for some tanks and shirts to finish off a skirt or two that I have. I spent $30 on 5 tanks (lane bryant brand). There's a lot of good brands and really cute styles in there for the regular ladies' sizes as well.
I was hoping for shoes and underthings too, but didn't really find what I was looking for. I've been through there before, definitely worth a shot if you've got some time to kill when you're shopping. I've found $20 birk sandals and some clogs there before. Sometimes I get very lucky.
I bought a used pair of crocs online, will probably get at least one other more attractive pair, or cut some air holes on my teal birk foam clogs. who knows. I'm overdue for a new pair of birks, but I don't intend to break in (or ruin) a pair of those at roo...unless the weather is really perfect.
We treat mishaps like sinking ships and I know that I don't want to be out to drift Well I can see it in your eyes like I taste your lips and They both tell me that we're better than this
OMG I'm just exhausted tonight and just got home from a long long day at work. Ughhh now I have to drive to Toronto tomorrow for a meeting on Friday.
Will definitely stay hooked up to Inforoo though! I can't go without it.
Becca- I LOVE YOUR DRESSES! Yes I'm screaming because I just LUV green and the blue print is sweet also! Now we will be able to pick you out for sure!
When I'm in Toronto tomorrow I'll take a peek around for the Crocs. We were all trying them on at work today but I think I'm hooked on the MaryJane crocs! I just hope I can find them in Lime Green!!
Ok ladies! I think I'm off to bed now. I didn't get to sleep until after 2:30am (Tossed and turned because I was coming off night shifts on Monday morning and that short turn around is an absolute killer!)
Have a great night and when I hook up again, I'll be in Toronto where the city never sleeps! I can't wait!
I just bought this dress on ebay, instead of one from frever21... Its longer, which I like... Also got a turquoise giant brimmed floppy hat to keep the sun off... I'm excited!

If they are too small with the strap, you can buy a velcro adjustable strap that will make them fit perfectly. I did that and they are ultra comfy now. They cost $9.95 online.
BTW I love the skirts at mapleclothing.com. I might have to do some shopping.....

I thought I'd pass along the names of two companies that sell Roo-worthy threads. I've shopped with both of them for years. They're a bit pricey, but one is a small, homegrown business and the other has a great record for supporting its overseas artisans, so they're worth a look.
www.devalifewear.com/mm5/ OK, I admit it, I've laughed at some of their stuff--especially when I picture my husband wearing it!--but the fabric and craftsmanship are fantastic. I might buy another Tortola tank top before Roo if I don't spend all my money elsewhere.
Today I'm wearing the rose-printed Indian-cotton dress I picked up at a thrift shop a few weeks ago for about 2 bucks. It had this big brownish spot on the front, but I thought, "F' it, I'll get it dirty at Bonnaroo anyway." Looks like the spot wasn't a stain; I don't see it at all. So I'm glad I took a chance!

Another update: I bought a cute tube top that ties at the neck at Target. I believe the brand is Xhiliration, if you're looking for it. It's really light, thin fabric and airy (the top is lined and the bottom half past the chest is thin but not see-through). It's really cute, and it was only $15. They have a red plaid and a yellow plaid. I have the red one, and I'll probably go pick up the yellow one as well, and wear them with shorts. One more dress and my 'Roo wardrobe will be complete!
