We treat mishaps like sinking ships and I know that I don't want to be out to drift Well I can see it in your eyes like I taste your lips and They both tell me that we're better than this
For the voluptuous ladies out there, I found these shorts that we could wear underneath those lovely skirts. It's that QuikWik stuff people are talking about, too!
You rock!!!! I had been wondering about what to wear under my skirts. These are great. I have to be honest and say I was dreading what to wear. I despise wearing shorts. Besides being "voluptuous", as you nicely put it, I have these funky scars on my legs. So I am very uncomfortable, outside of my family, throwing on shorts. But you all are just so cool and awesome that I am slowly starting to shake my fears aside...and may be brave enough to pack a few tank tops instead of t-shirts.
I have been wearing my crocs forever..I LOVE them. I just got a new pair for the summer. They are cute...yes really...and I do not even feel like I am wearing anything. I tried to copy the picture but had no luck. I hope the link below works.

I was dreading what to wear, too. Shorts usually give me nasty chafing, but the skirts will definitely not chafe, plus they are beautiful!!!
I just went to Kohl's and bought about 5 new shirts to wear. Some are funky, and the others are basic white tank tops. I didn't know Kohl's had that much clothing and fantastic prices!
5 inches? your my hero. I cry a little every time i just get two inches. cut. My long hair makes me mad but i am too afraid to cut it any shorter.
don't give me too much credit. Haircuts freak me out too. That's why I only cut it like once a year. By that time the ends are shot and it's a relief to get all the weight off. Besides 'Roo is a great motivator, now my hair is cool and prettiful.
ladies I have to ask you something that involves keeping up appearences but perhaps in a less literal sense. I come to you cos this thread keeps it real, yo. I am flying to Roo and I just don't think that absolutely everything I bring will fit into a camping backpack.. would it be completely outrageous to bring a suitcase?? would people point and laugh? how to haul so much stuff seems to be a mystery to me right now...

You know, I was just thinking about that too. See, if you have a car, then thats one thing, cause you can just dump it in, but if you are flying/bussing/whatever then what?
I might bring a suitcase just for the convenience of the wheels, honestly.
the only thing is if it's really muddy I guess... dragging a suitcase thru the mud, but whatever it's not the end of the world... bring a lil Roo back with me....!
YOu do what you have to do to get to Roo and I wouldn't worry about a suitcase. You are just going to be sticking it into your tent anyhow right? Hey, if worse comes to worse, and you feel weird about it, someone in the lineup will stick it in their vehicle for you I'm sure.
Sure, I'm sure I can find space to store an empty suitcase or two, but I don't know if it's any better to have to lug an empty suitcase to your tent, unpack it, then lug it (or find some nice person to lug it for you ) out to RV to stash it for the weekend, then come back and get it to pack up again....but maybe so if your tent is really small? But I'll be happy to volunteer to store any spare odds or ends, though I can't promise where...I haven't been to check out the RV yet...I know it has some underneath storage and some top storage....I'm kinda new to all this myself....I may need to rent that Robin Williams movie before I head out.... ;D
If you need it bring it. Nobody is gonna look at you funny, nobody cares. A suitcase is very minor when compared to some of the freaky things you'll run across at 'roo.
I have bottles of that "Naturally Smooth" lotion we were talking about a few pages back. It inhibits hair growth. I got quite a hook up from a fellow inforooer.
If you want a bottle let me know and I'll send you one. ;D

^^^ Does that stuff really work you guys? Can you find it in stores anywhere? I freakin' hate my hair. It grows so fast. I shave Wed. night before I leave and by Fri morning I need to shave again and it sucks! I'm really self conscious about it even though I shouldn't be cause everyone's in the same boat. Argh!
