I love the fact that we are bringing the trailer now... I'm totally overpacking ... especially considering that due to roo being my new excuse to shop I just bought three more dresses today... yeah its unnecessary... but it's fun And I splurged on a new hoodie cause I really dont have any (other than my NSA one from Ft.Mead which probably wouldn't go over too big at roo) and they seem practical

as far as how many clothes im bringin - definately about 5 dresses, a hoodie, and some shorts to wear under my dresses and lots of pairs of panties and bandanas a pair of flippers (havianas - they are the best!!) and my baby blue crocs. SUNGLASSES
wow this is like my personal packing list this is great
oh and my butterfly wings if i can fit them/talk my brother into taking them down for me ;D
At least 2 knee length skirts, a variety of tanks to match, 2 pairs of capris, one hoodie and one pair of pants. one pair of crocs. one pair of flip flops (prolly for the shower), and at least one pair of tennis shoes with socks.
I'll be packing all our clothes and shoes in a rubbermaid bin, instead of using suitcases. waterproof and easy to clean if it gets wet. and insta-table worthy at camp.
how do the ballet flat crocs fit? does your heel come out the back or does it stay on. I'm debating a pair of those. Are they as comfy?
We treat mishaps like sinking ships and I know that I don't want to be out to drift Well I can see it in your eyes like I taste your lips and They both tell me that we're better than this

man, i think I'm gonna be underpacked here. I bought 4 skirts and have one old skirt, but 2 of them bleed so bad that I know it will stain my skin when I sweat. I don't want to be purple. I bought some Retayne and washed them in it so they won't bleed, but it's not guaranteed.
So, that leaves me with 3 skirts. I guess I could bring some shorts to wear just in case. I don't wear shorts, though, and only have 1 pair that are WAY too big for me now. Guess those would definitely be comfy, though. Nothing like being squeezed by too-tight clothing. ;D
I'm definitely going to bring more shirts...the skirts won't get that gross because they won't be touching anything that will be gross other than the ground (he he).
sorry about the ramble...this is me thinking on screen.
on shoes... I usually bring a pair of tennies and a pair of sturdy hiking sandals. The moisture can really mess your feet up though - I tend to blister on the back of my heel if my feet stay wet. This year I will have tennies, sandals, and an open heeled shoe of some sort - trying to keep the soles of my feet protected but my heel open was quite a challenge last year.

I am not one to wear things that really stand out buuuut I just had to get this dress for Roo. I fell in love with the colors...
Oh EBay how I love you so! Comes with a matching belt and everything. $10! Couldn't pass it up
Ebay! The last great bastion of true capitalism left on earth - next to Shakedown from what I have heard of it (since I've yet to experience it... )....Love the dress!!!
Well got my hair done yesterday and wow sweet! Foils for the whole head. How nasty are your hair bills? Full set of foils, 2 colours, and a cut was 160.00 which included the tip. DOes that sound right in the States?
Oh forgot to mention that I got my crocs the other day and a tonne of thos gems for them, they weren't the official CROC Jibbitz, but I got the REAL Crocs. I bought 10 Fake Jibbits for 20. Not bad at all but I couldn't find a Peace Sign. GOt a few Canadian flags though.

last time I actually got mine professionally colored and cut it cost about 80... but I dont dye mine anymore so I can't say anything for that... now that it's short I have to get it cut about every four weeks to keep it up which takes about a $30 chunck out of my account, I need to find a cheaper salon but I'm too scared to get it done anywhere else... that or I need to just start doing it myself again like i did when it was long, but it was easy then, now I'm pretty sure it would be easy to f-up
Yeah I wish I could do my own hair but its blond and fine, so I've found the goddess of all hair stylists who does it exactly how I want, not too brassy looking, etc. Its the all mighty canadian TAXES That I pay!

I keep thinking I wan't to go blond ... but I just got to the point where all the dye is grown out and it's all healthy, and I dunno if I could pull it off cause I'm so pale ... mind you I was blond as a child and still have nonexistant eyebrows and lashes, its just gotten darker with age, I just kinda want to lighten it up a bit without damaging it too much... any suggestions girls
That is what I am doing to my hair tomorrow - even tho it is strawberry blond - I do highlights in the summer so that it looks like I have a tan (when I really don't)

I'm kind of at the same place, my highlights are mostly grown out and my hair is healthy, BUT i have the urge to go chestnut/red... i think that makes me an insane person. thoughts?

if you are insane then we are in the same boat... I don't think I wan't to do highlights just cause i don't want to do the bleach/peroxide thing cause it has gotten so healthy for you crazy kitten if you want to go chesnut/red you can always tone your hair with a demipermanent color it wont damage your hair and it will make it nice and shiny and just bring in some color... it doesn't wash out like the semi permanent stuff, but fades out in like 24 to 28 shampoos something like that, It wont lighten or change the color your natural hair just tone it...
I just recently went back to coloring after a long time without too (got bored and wanted a change, and I kNOW that I cannot do anything shorter than my shoulders so cutting much is NOT an option!) Usually I just go with a little red tint in the brown, but this time I REALLY wanted a change so she suggested going lighter and doing highlights which I hadn't had in years. I was really afraid of the damage and upkeep etc too but I must say that it was exactly the change I was looking for and I really like it! But I've had it done twice now (color, highlights, cut and style here $95 but I have long hair and it is based on how much color they have to use....) and I swear it gets blonder each time...I think she is doing that on purpose
I got my hair foiled yesterday. I am a natural dark blonde and after years of highlighting I went back to my color only to re-highlight yesterday. I freaked out a bit yesterday thinking about the up keep $$ and how light it is but this morning I like it. It was $110 for a(partial not even a full ) foil, brow wax and tip.
I don't spend a lot on hair, I get it cut when i can't stand it anymore and touch up color at home. Once my mom treated me to the full treatment; cut, color, style; at this really nice place it was about $100... and IMO kind of a waste. It was no better than a supercut and a color out of the box.
Damn, those canadian taxes must be aweful, it seems like you pay a little extra for everything.
Well, I'm naturally a dark blond so when I get foils done, I can allow them to grow at least 6 months and you really don't notice too much, Still looks great! Last time I had them done was October and my hair still looked naturally streaky so I love it. If I had darker hair though, I don't know, I don't think I would streak or foil just because it would have to be done more often!
the last time i got my hair cut & colored, it cost me a hefty $175. i think the cut was $75... color $100. the only person who is allowed to mess up my hair is myself. so, i go to this totally awesome girl who happens to charge out the arse- i guess thats what i get for going to someone in west hollywood. but she did tell me about this powder haircolor from bigen which is super cheap, super easy, and awesome. you just mix it with water and you're ready to go. thats how i got my bright red hair which i am in love with. so now i just get my hair cut.
