My sis is a size 18-20 and I am pretty sure it would fit her no problem. They are basically a big piece of fabric that you can wrap and make whatever you want, even just a skirt...I love mine...here's a really shoddy pic of me in mine on the beach...

So I went to Forever 21 yesterday and bought 2 cute new sundresses! So now I have sundresses to wear for all 4 days...I'm so excited! Forever 21 seems to be *the* store for cute Bonnaroo clothes!

so i know this is a lame question, but i see croc rip offs everywhere - where can i actually get them via store? i'm bringing this mad puffy red tutu that i plan to run around in like a demon. this is great. i love that roo fashion is so lax. i've been so uptight because of my job lately. for the past year or so i've spent no less than 45/day fussing over my hair before i go to work. i know its lame. so in preparation for Roo and probably only bathing every other day i have been letting it lax and curl and frizz like a fro'. i love it.
You can buy "real" crocs at Dillards and outdoor stores like Blue Ridge Mountain. Not sure where else, apart from crocs.com and zappos.com.
I have been looking at kariza skirts all day. I think I have the one i want and I'm bidding on (as well as a back up).
going to bid/buy by tomorrow and pray to the ebay gods that it gets shipped on time. The more I look at these skirts, the more I love them. They are just so beautiful!

Last month a wonderful friend of mine bought me one of the shorter Kariza skirts for Roo (and made me swear I'd wear it and take a picture in it). I love it, but I haven't decided on how/what style I want to wear it, so I'm glad you girlies reminded me to figure it out. Lord knows I don't want to figure it out when I'm hungover, hot and hungry in the morning at Roo.
As for the bra - yeah, I always wear one, but I only bring razorbacks so I'm not dealing with falling bra straps the whole time.
In 2005, the first year I went to Roo, I didn't have a resource like Inforoo, I had ever been to a music festival and I had never camped before. Needless to say, it was a complete disaster and a huge learning experience.
I was just going through my Roo 2005 pics and ran across this picture. It was taken a few minutes after setting up the tent, and at the time I took it I remember thinking, "Why in the world is that chick wearing a skirt out here on a farm?" Little did I know!

skirts are a great solution. and the wrap pants that tie both in the front and the back and slit up the sides. i usually bring 3x as much underwear as i need. usually many many alternate shirts as well.
i'm not sure about with this VIP experience, though, how it will impact my clothes and supply packing. if i am able to take a shower, i might not have to change underpants so much!!
I had a question for you crafty ladies out there. I have a white cotton skirt i bought at Target for like 5 bucks. It's got pockets and it's really cute, but it's white! Even when not a Bonnaroo i try to steer clear of white clothes because im clutsy.
Anywho, I bought some Rit Dye in dark brown to dye the skirt. Has anyone used this? I would love some advice. Is it easy to do or am i going to ruin the skirt?

I have to wear a bra - wven with the tank tops with built in bras - 3 kids have done that and I will not be seen in public without one
I hear ya Meg! I feel the same way. Even at some place as free and open as Bonnaroo...my girls will have to stay underwraps. I do like the idea of a razorback/sports bra though..over a normal everyday one.
Value City had Bestform sports bras for $3.99. I bought two thinking that with all the mesh and breathability it might be nicer to wear than a regular underwire bra. The only thing is that sports bras tend to give the uni-boob look! So we'll see i guess!

I'm right there with you girls. I would love more than anything else to go braless but I only allow myself that luxury at home, because it really isn't a pretty sight for others tohave to look at

That is exactly what I was thinking but did not want to say it - ;D
I can get by with just a shelf bra or some creative seam placement/empire waist if it's really hot, but my girls definitely look better with proper support.

edit: I give up on bidding on Kariza. the auctions seem rigged, someone is even out bidding me at the last second, and when this is going on i'm always suspicious that the seller is setting it up on purpose to drive up the cost.

ohmygosh i love this thread. i just read the entire thing.
i bought a pair of the black mary jane crocs at REI a few weeks ago and wore them on a float trip. they worked out pretty darn well, with the exception of a few rocks getting stuck in them, so i anticipate that at bonnaroo, they'll be pretty clutch. buuut to even things out, i just ordered a pair of chacos as well... because im not THAT impressed with the crocs (blasphemic? maybe... sorry!!). i guess we'll see.
other than that, i bought a few dresses from walmart, which i was VERY surprised about... theyre adorable. and during my lunch break today, i went to target and bought a dress in the juniors section and then a size large dress in little girls (i'm petite), as well.
i've never been to bonnaroo and myself, along with about 9 other people, are in the RV section... 3 girls and 5 boys. i probably wont be wearing any makeup, but i will be going tanning beforehand because im irish and burn easily.
someone, many pages earlier, posted about the leg hair thing, and while at target today, i picked up some veet and a $20 electric razor... thank you for that. my leg hair grows SOOOOOO fast, so i'm excited to try that out.
