our view toward the west? and/or toward the interstate. the fence was to the right. that's my beer on the truck and the jeep tent right behind it. to our immediate left were some older folks, their daughter, and a soccer group from brazil or somethin' ?!!!
here's my campmates sharin' some chocolate cornbread brownies, the roo breakfast of champions. dude on the left is the one who may have burned breakfast with ya one day. but THAT may have been the dudes against the fence.
This is a pic from '06. the guy on the left and the guy looking over his shoulder were there last year They built the Tarp Thing... do they look familiar? The one on the left has a long ponytail.
it's the same set-up both years with the van and coffee table and stuff

Well ive been one year and when you get parked You should jump outta your car and start setting up camp
I also went to Echo and the same thing happened, and we actually werent going to have enough room, and this guy w/ a huge truck decided to leave and wait for his other friends. If he wouldnt have left we would have had to put our tent in the shade tent.
People arent really rude, they just lay their stuff down and start setting up
Our setup was only possible because we were the last car to be parked in Apollo Creed. We were right on the edge. Everyone else was so packed in! They let us have all the space next to our car, instead of setting up camp behind the car. We were not rude neighbors though, our pop up tent was home to about 20 people throughout the week. Every morning we would wake up to someone sleeping under our pop up for some shade.
The cons- We were right in the area where people walking from BFE would pass through. We were also by the trash cans. Alot of noise when people would pass through all throughout the night. Our car was written on by everyone when the dust caked on. We were also by a generator which was very very noisy. Someone broke it on Saturday though giving us quiet.
but seriously, it SAYS you're supposed to get like 15 feet behind your car, realistically you can spread out as far as your neighbors let you... which is why it's important to make friends with them as soon as you park

Yeah, if you park with your car (which I would always do, just because it's a lot more convenient), as soon as you get out you determine your site. We lucked out bc we were right at the edge in Hans Solo (i think?) and by the horse stables. The end or beginning of a row is sweet bc you typically have more room and a little more privacy. We lucked out pretty well... I hope next year we get a great spot!

The white jeep, the blue car, the three tan canopy things and also the blue one behind all those is our camp ;D
We had a LOT of room, especially for not being in VIP. We were in camp Axel Foley which was like a 10-15 min walk I think. You all should definitely get a bunch of cars and let the people know that you have so many cars and want to put all your space in one big area. Oh and the two tents on the right are ours and there were also 3 other tents not in the picture.

this is from the back corner of VIP. We were down on the right hand side in a truck/tent combo, not nearly as impressive as some of what I have seen on here!!!

Hey we were neighbors!!! We are that car parked sideways on the right side. Our camp was right along the fence so we had a ton of room. Which one are you?
