last year arrived on line on rt.24 around 9am. Did the wait for around 3-4 hours. Was lovingly placed in Axel Foley which was appreciated more and more as the weekend progressed. Only like a 5 min walk to other tent gate so real close for the most part but not so much in the meat of everyone. I'd be happy getting the same location. I don't recall ever waiting a minute for a port-a-potty and ice was less than a minute away
I don't care what you say about me, just spell my name right---P.T. Barnum "As I was walking up the stairs I met a man who wasn't there He wasn't there again today I wish to God he'd go away."

I was in the same campsite. It was awesome. We were in the corner closest to the toll booths, right next to the ice trucks.
As my Inebriated buddy walks out of the Porto, he yells out, "Dude...I love this place...bonnaroo thinks about everything...they even put beer holders next to the toilet!"
Had to break it to him that that was the urnal. Good times good times!

last year my friend and I spent the night at Walmart and got in line for the bushy branch entrance around 9 or so, waited for about 2 hours and were finished setting up by noon. We were placed in camp Jeff Spicoli (sp?)
Shakedown, or at least what I thought was Shakedown, was on the way to centeroo. About 15-20min walk

Ok so from what i've been reading, i've learned if i want the full experience of roo ....
Camp in tent only and arrive thursday morning 6-11ish so that u can be close to everything including centeroo
Let's say i get there wednesday night. i'm not able to enter the tent only section until thursday morning, so, i have to sleep in car tent section...then move over in thur morning right? thats not a pain is it?
We always camp TO, and it is so worth it to be close. We are hoping to be able to do what we did last year when we arrived at 7am Thurs. As we were driving past TO on our way to BFE, my son jumped out of the car and started throwing our stuff out of the car. He stayed with most of our stuff while I waited for them to start letting people in BFE hike over to TO. We still had to make another trip, but having the heavy stuff like cooler and tent/shade tent already there made it a lot lighter load.
