Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I wore babydoll dresses last year with bike shorts underneath and you couldn't tell at all. Of course, then I didn't have any extra pockets, but I just used my backpack and tucked my chapstick into my bra.
This year with my karizas, I think the bike shorts will also be unobtrusive - and will let me flip around my skirt as much as I want to without accidently flashing someone!
DCBee sent me a link to a fellow Inforooster's Flikr album for Bonnaroo... think it was Spookymonster. Well I am in the background of one pic and am SO GLAD I had bike shorts on because my crotch is in full display! Kinda hard to sit on the grass during a show and be ladylike! But the bike shorts I got were moisture wicking, breathable and really didn't feel hot at all.
Looked through my notes from last year and noticed I was very pro-cotton, not jersey but the stiff stuff because it moved int he breeze, dried quickly, didn't cling. Something to keep in mind this year..

I have a sort of off topic sort of not question... I'm going in for my first bikini wax tomorrow. What should I expect? I hate shaving and dealing with razor bumps so I'm trying this out and hoping that it won't be too awful and I can start keeping up with it and not have to worry about it at Bonnaroo. Any advice?
I eventually want to just go in for laser treatment but it's sooo expensive.

ok so i know there are a lot of people that thinks all crocs are ugly, but i got this pair a while back for a trip and not only did they go with most of my outfits they saved my feet. yay crocs.
Those are so cute! I was wondering though, do the crocs run true to size or bigger/smaller? Do you think the MaryJane style will be comfy for bonnaroo?

I have the MJs. They were perfect last year. I can only wear Crocs that come in true sizes, 6-7-8 because I wear a half-size and the S-M-L just don't work. If you wear a 61/2 buy a 7. Mine are the pink swirly color. They don't match everything but I don't care because they are uber comfy.

i used to have the MJ's but i lost them in a move so i have to buy a new pair. but they're completely worth it.

it'll feel surprisingly good when they spread the wax on
definitely buy some after care product, tend skin or something like it...
also, if it's a brazilian, be prepared to do some serious contortions!

i get the brazil alot of times ;D. it hurts. lol. i prefer the wax that dries and they pull it off without paper, i think it hurts a TAD less. but the pain is worth it. it feels amazing aftewards hehe

It sounds silly but those vitamins at GNC that make your hair grow... work. It's all about vitamins and stuff... and hydrate, always good advice, and don't wash it so much, it can strip the protective oils...
and the #1 trick to growing your hair out is... don't cut it. Seriously, push through the "awkward" phase and just don't cut it.

I've been growing hair for a long time
not cutting it is always hard b/c my hair is so straight that when it grows i look like a Hanson brother. hehe. but i'll be strong. thanx for the tip

i would love to do pigtails but it just doesn't work currently. =)

i'm about growing my hair out too for roo, and just in general.
I have tons of layers, so my hair definitely does the "hanson"esque flip style, as mentioned above.
But I WILL be strong! I think I will start taking those vitamins and such. Also, my friend swears by the shampoo Mane n' Tail, I believe? It was originally developed for horses, and my friend said it works wonders bc it makes your hair super healthy, and that helps increase faster growing.
I think I'm gonna get a bottle of it!
I wanna be the pretty girl with long, beautiful brown hair!
