ok so i am trying to find an alternative to a bag or book bag for late nights because i feel i dont need as much stuff at night....money...phone...camera....tp....so ive found these
I was trying to think of something similar for a bag for 'roo. I dislike having things on my shoulders (purse, backpack) for long period of time, so I've been looking for an alternative. I found a cute black bag at Target that is meant to be a crossbody, but the strap adjusts short enough to sit on my hips (I have big hips, too). It's black and has a main pocket and two smaller front pockets and was $10 - I tried to find it on their website but I couldn't. Its cute though and it'll hold everything except my water bottle. So, maybe you could check out smaller crossbody purses with adjustable straps too?
I like those - and i like that vest! but as a larger bosom lady, I dont know how the vest would rub up on your chest? Chafing is always the first consideration i make when choosing new Roo clothing.

Hi ladies, I want to introduce myself as well! I've been lurking on inforoo for two years now. I camped with inforoo last year (my first roo) and saw a few of you at brunch, but for some reason didn't say hi. I spent most of my time hanging with the boys last year, and this year I need some estrogen in my life! I figured this thread is the best place to meet roo-minded-ladies, and it sure helped me decide what to pack last year!
Hey there Olivia!!! Good to have another newb (sorta) to Roo and to the GFT Glad we can help!!! And you will def see a bunch of us at the brunch. So say hi this year! Odds are we're all drunk and sloppy happy ;D

now I have really big hips, really big so I am trying to decide which would be best....
anyone have an opinion or advice?
THAT is adorable. Definitely fun! And I LOVE the color
I am also a victim of big hips. and a big butt, so trying to customize bottoms on me can be a bit of a pin in the ass. Literally.
But seriously, that's cute. I would sincerely consider that bag for late night shenanigans. My only concern is that I'd more than likely be wearing a dress there, so I wonder how it'd affect the look of my outfit? I'd totally wear it with shorts. But shorts are a no-go for me when I'm going to be sweating like a banshee in the summer heat.
It depends on the dress, but as long as its on your hips, not your waist, and not too tight, I think hip bags would still be really cute. I mostly wear skirts with a knit top because of my large bazooms. Can't wait to add a hip bag!
I have been a little MIA because I don't have internet at home at it's super busy at work. I received my pin! Thank you, Mayo! Super cute and I loved the little card too!!!
I decided that that in another 11 pounds, I will start shopping for new festie clothes. Now THAT is motivation!
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Hey ladies, I wanted to share this dress from Forever21. It's cotton, comes in four colors, and is only $7.50! That's a Roo dress if I've ever seen one!

Awesome, thanks JHO! I found some like this last year (thinner straps) at Old Navy for around the same price - they work amazingly for Bonnaroo. Was hoping to find something similar this year, this works! Anyone know how their sizes run? I see they have the measurements listed, but that doesn't mean anything to me unfortunately
Oh man.. I REALLY want to get one or two of those! As a general rule, I don't buy any clothes online. I am picky with both textures and fit. PLUS, I don't return things. So if it doesn't work. Oh well! I am out the money! I wonder if they are in the store...

Chloetuesday, F21 sizes typically run small. I am by no means a small lady; however, I can often fit into their size Large if it's cotton because it will stretch. The quality probably won't be great but for $7.50, I wouldn't expect it to be.
Bonzai, typically they do have their "style deals" dresses in the store, but I don't think they last long. If you want to check them out, I would do it this week or this weekend at the latest.
A F21 online, you get free shipping if you spend $50. Yes, I buy more from F21 than is probably normal for my age, but it's a good place to get trendy items that will last a season or so. I am a HUGE fan of their maxi dresses in particular!
I also am aiming for LB loss before I start buying. I got an email from modcloth today that one of my items in my wishlist was almost out... but I dont want to buy it if i wont fit in it in 2 months! and
I LOVE the F21 stuff for Roo (and festies in gen) - like JHo said, it's not the best quality, but who wears good quality stuff (besides undies and bazoom support) to Roo?! For $7.50, I can look cute for one day, and then if the dress gets ruined/stretchedout/stained/muddy/ripped I can toss it without a care.
....I just read that again - what the HECK am I doing to myself at Roo?! ripped?! sheesh.

I would also recommend their floppy hats for Roo. Decently priced (this particular one is now only $8.00) and if it gets ruined/smashed/puked on, it was only $8.00

Only available online, buts it's free shipping if you spend $50 and you can return in store. Edit: not cotton, but it feels like it!
