Ugh. Those floppy hats are so effing adorable. I just don't think I can pull it off. I had a really small, perfectly round head and have yet to find a hat (except baseball caps) that I can wear while feeling not so hideous.
Brighter note: I pulled out all my Roo clothes today!! ( Unfortunately I have enough for Roo.....but one or two more can't hurt right?). I can't believe it's getting so close!
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days I'm going to set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it. Anyone who wants to tag along is more than welcome.
We're all getting ready too. Getting the camping gear out, washing what needs it, replacing stuff.. It's so exciting(: We just booked our rental car too!

Hi Everyone, you all saved me last year trying to get ready for my first bonnaroo. Im even more excited for this one. I didnt realize how much fun people had with costumes, especially at night. Also I love that dress. Im seriously heading to the mall right after I get out of work now.

Target already has some bathing suits on clearance. I have a small chest, and was more comfortable in bikini tops than bras last year. I got them all for like $7 a piece as they went on sale.

I am trying to lose a little bit more weight before I go shopping and save up some money as well! The fact that Opry Mills just opened back up today here in Nashville isn't helping. Not to mention that that means I now have a Forever 21 less than 10 minutes from my house. Must...resist...the...urge!!!

I had no boobs at ALL, so I could make strapless and backless tops suuuuuper easy. I have NO IDEA how to make clothes for boobs. ...I should learn. Then I could rock my own knit dresses.

im thinking about going to ultra next year. did you like it? why only the two visits?
^^^ Briester - only two visits for a couple reasons. First, I had a super unpleasant experience at Ultra '03. The details are not for public knowledge on the internets, but it did not end well. Then I graduated college in 2003, and when Ultra rolled around the next year, I was living at home, didnt have much money, so it was a little out of my realm. That year, I started going back to Atlanta's Music Midtown, and Ultra just kind of faded to the background. Then I moved to the ATL, started dating a boy, and he wasn't into electronica, so it never really came up. Continued going to MM, then started Bonnaroo. The rest is history!
But I did like Ultra, I'd love to go back. Next year is Glasto, but maybe after that.

I would also recommend their floppy hats for Roo. Decently priced (this particular one is now only $8.00) and if it gets ruined/smashed/puked on, it was only $8.00
I'm usually a medium, but I ordered a large. Even with ordering larges, they fit me tight in the waist, so I have no option but to wear them high waisted (which I'm pretty used to anyways). They are both shorter than I expected and they fit really loose and flowy below the waist, so I don't often wear them in fear that I will accidentally reveal my lady parts to the world. This is why I'm scared to order from Forever 21, but I probably will eventually crack due to their amazing prices.
I totally hear you. I can't wear F21 skirts on account of them being 1. too short and 2. not fitting my waist.
BUT the one I posted above is sized 0-12, as opposed to their standard S, M, L. That is why I would be more willing to purchase it.
I definitely didn't notice the sizing difference, and despite all the F21 bashing I just did, I'm very seriously shopping on the website right now. Maybe I will get the skirt. Those prices are my weakness.

Thank you Mayo! I finally got my GFT pin in the mail and I love it! Well, it's been there for a while but I just got to the post office to pick up the mail. We're not urban enough around here for that whole "mail delivered to your home" thing. If I don't go pick it up I don't get it.

I went to F21 today at Lenox Mall. Despite the size of the size of the store in the mall, I found NOTHING there. Absolutely nothing. bummmmmer. And I even looked for said dress above.
^^^Thanks Ellie I have a couple wet seal items that have stood the test of time and were mega cheap... I'll go look at the site on my break!
Also ladies, Old Navy is usually hit or miss, but they seem to be pretty spot on right now for decent tops and dresses. there was actually one there for only $15, but they didnt have the color i wanted in my size! jerks. ...anyhow, I did score a pretty chevron striped navy/white dress that can be yanked on real quick-like and worn to pretty much any patio or braves game this summer.
Lastly, have definitely read every page of this thread over the years, but don't recall if we've really discussed the Exofficio Give-and-Go undies?? They're super breathable and quick-drying. I know a couple people who have them for long hiking and camping trips and im considering them for Roo. Has anyone tried them/heard of them/have friends who wear them? They're a bit pricey, but from what i understand, you only need 1 or 2 pair and a water bucket for washing. Haaa!!! ;D

I wear almost all bikini (swimsuit) pieces for 'Roo.
Bonnie- I wore only thongs forever when I served and had to wear the black pants! Then when it was scrubs they were super uncomfy so I started wearing only bikini style bottoms. ^_^
