After buying two more maxi dresses on my lunch break today, im officially in gotta-narrow-down-my-packing mode. Ooo, also I found some really comfortable cotton-blend bike shorts at walmart.com (2/$12) that I'm hoping will be a backup to the chubrub product (bodyglide) that I'm bringing! Can't freaking wait. less than 9 weeks to go!!!
I know it has been said a million times but I'm here to reiterate the one true fact that I have learned in the GFT and at Roo: Dresses with bike shorts are THE best clothing solution!
I went into TJ Maxx today and found even more maxi dresses. At this point in my Roo prepping I've got to actually cut down on my clothing choices. Crazy.

okay as of right now, I have...hardly nothing clothing wise lol
I'm so damn picky when it comes to clothes that I just get frustrated shopping, and not to mention I have issue spending too much on something that could potentially get jacked up at Roo...lol

the ones i got today were from rainbow! They have a lot of boho looking stuff right now, and you really can't beat the price for something that won't get a ton of wear
I just got my first ever order from NoMoreRack (30 tank tops for $30) and am extremely disappointed. They run super small and are totally see through. Has anyone else had this experience? I'm wondering if it's just these tanks or if most of their stuff is low quality. I guess when something seems too good to be true, it usually is.
So I had some fun with discharge dying today. I used some cheap tank tops from Target, bleach in a spray bottle, then just soaked in some bleach-stop, and ta-da! New fun tanks!

Ladies...LADIES! I just headed over to ASOS.com and saw that they're having an Up To 50% off sale on a huge selection. They've got all different sizes too!

I'll always look at the runway video for that particular clothing item because they play interesting music. lol
If you're really bored (like me at work today) here's a website that has 30ish pictures of girls at Roo. I love seeing everyone's different styles. Now I can't stop Googling for more.

I love doing this too! I have gone nuts on pinterest looking at roo fashion boards (especially when I realize that I could never be as hip and chic as most of them). I just wonder how these chicks wearing all white stay clean? lol

It's possible to wear white all day and stay clean, I did it last year I have a white sundress that I love and had no issues. It was a big grubby at the end of the night but not obviously dirty. I wore a white tank with a tutu another day and stayed pretty clean in it also.

Uhhhhhh....those pics should have been in the "Get fit" thread......I'd love to rock wicked style, yet I feel much paler and less toned than those ladies. Also whenever I try to "style" myself I just end up a sweaty mess.
However, I'm having wicked fun and losing my mind at shows....so I guess the trade off is worth it.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days I'm going to set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it. Anyone who wants to tag along is more than welcome.

Agreed....would love to be able to look cute and fashionable the whole day but I don't think that will ever happen in that heat! My only hope is to find a few cute dresses. Love the inspiration I find on here though! I think this year my goal is to have a few more accessories, especially for the evening and late night shows.
I found some some cute looking dresses on sale through Groupon. Not sure about the material, but the prints are nice so its worth a try. I'm also still looking for some good glow-in-the-dark glitter for those temporary tattoos. I found some at Michael's, but it's not very fine so it will work if I can't find anything else. I'm a little too excited about that stuff

OK ladies...I am in search of a bikini top that's SUBSTANTIAL. I want it plain, black, and full coverage with high sides and a wide band...sort of like what you'd expect to see on a beach volleyball player (almost a sports bra style). I'm also a weird size, 42B (55lb weight loss made my D's disappear, weight lifting added two inches to my back, can't win! LOL). Anyway, I've tried Athleta, prAna, Columbia, REI, Target, Walmart, Amazon, Gap, Old Navy, Macy's, Land's End, Lane Bryant/Cacique, JC Penney and LL Bean...no dice!! I never thought something so simple would be so hard to find. If I find a good style, it doesn't come in black...if I find it in black, the sides are strings and/or its backless. Help?!

Watchin' a stretch of road, miles of light explode. Driftin' off a thing I'd never done before. Watchin' a crowd roll in. Out go the lights it begins. A feelin' in my bones I've never felt before...
My dear friend, Cece, wrote a good blog post a while back about the remedy for the infamous "chub rub" if any ladies were looking for a cure without the biker shorts or when you're wearing a bathing suit!

So I have fallen in love with Pinterest and even made my own Bonnaroo board. I found a few pins about glow in the dark nail polish. Does anyone know if that is actually sold in stores somewhere or if it would work well? I'm not a big fan of the DIY kind where people poured glow sticks into clear nail polish.

My girlfriends tried the glow in the dark nail polish and it was shiz.

My parents bought me a maxi dress for my birthday. I'll take a pic when I get it back (it's being taken in a bit by my gem of a step mom). I had a giggle when I opened it and they said "we thought this would be perfect for Bonnaroo" <3 Amazing

They've got a lot of different brands (OPI, American Apparel, China Glow ect) & colors to choose from at Amazon

What are peoples thoughts on wearing cowgirl boots?? As long as theyre waterproofed, course since theyre cheap it wont matter if they get messed up as much... Definitely breaking them in between now and Roo, and buying an insole with some support... thoughts?? My only concern really is how hot my feet might get... I suppose a good boot sock that wicks away moisture might do the trick...?

My only experience with cowgirl boots is that they feel heavy and hard...but that was back in the day when I was actually a cowgirl. The fashion ones might be better. They look super cute. I'm not a fan of boots that hit low or mid calf so I am bringing my hunter rain boots.

I have bigger calves so tall boots aren't the best option for me..

I saw a lot of girls in cowboy boots/other boots. They will be hot, but as long as they are comfy it's worth it. Make sure they are completely worn in before Roo! The boots you picked out are cute!

I have gotten several things from there but they are all electronics: a USB wall/car charger set for my iphone ($6), an UNU DX phone case that extends battery life ($33) and a Canon Rebel T3, and all were in great condition. Bummer about the tanks though, I actually thought about ordering them and/or the multi-pack of bike shorts for roo.
