Does anyone know where I can find any cute beandeau tops that STAY ON? I know I'm not exactly big on top, but just about every bandeau top I find continues to ride down. I love them though, they're comfortable, and definitely PERFECT for roo, as long as I'm not flashing everyone as I go along.
I got mine at Dot's last year. They've got a little bit of modesty padding, and rubbery stuff to help them stay up. They were also dirt cheap. I'd check them out to see if they still carry them.

Adorn me in feathers from dead birds;;
I feel summer creeping in and I'm tired of this town again;;
You are surrounding all my surroundings, twisting the kaleidoscope behind both of my eyes.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days I'm going to set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it. Anyone who wants to tag along is more than welcome.
Bandeau tops: the rubbery stuff along the top and sometimes along the side stitching is ESSENTIAL to getting them to stay on. This also applies to strapless bras.
Glow in the Dark Body Paint: Try Spencers Gifts or find a glowing body powder/glitter and mix it into a thin body paint.
I don't do rain boots. I do what JHo mentioned- just deal with it. I understand why people do use boots, but unless it's going to rain for days (like Mountain Jam '12), I'd rather just deal with mud. Especially when it's hot and muggy.
I bought a few dresses two weeks ago, but didn't have time to post about them here because I was rush packing for Wanee.
I bought this dress and LOVE it, but the fake boob cup things rise too high on my larger chest, so I need to return it:
Where did you get the orange strapless dress? Sherry loves it and wants one!!
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
IFFFF I can remember, I'll check what I bought. It was either a medium or a large and fit "perfectly" except for those boob cups (I need to have a real strapless under them.

I'm tall (5' 10") and a fuller figured girl and I can buy Target Juniors. I usually get an XL. I have most of the dresses above and they're all in L/XL.
I didn't even realize that I was shopping in Juniors! haha. My only issue is that most (minus the flowered one in the real pic above), are pretty short. If I were to wear them non-fest, they would all need leggings. And I am 5'4ish

They are a tad short but I don't think they're too bad. I'll be wearing bike shorts anyway.

Haha ok I will let Sherry know. She is smaller chested than you, but about the same size I think. But she is taller, so this may be too short for her. I am not above wearing really short dresses, but she is

So I just went to Kohls for shorts to wear under my tutu and they have these on sale for $4.99!! I got 3 pairs..... They are nice thin cotton, just like PJ shorts really.
I'm not sure if there are any neon fans around but Meijer had a huge selection of junior clothing (tanks, shorts, etc) in ridiculously bright colors. I think I saw some bicycle shorts too (perfect for under dresses, tutus, etc).
AHHH, getting so close! I'm tweaking our list as I type!!
I'm looking to widen my customer base! Want custom hand sewn purses and travel accessories for roo this year? Check out my Etsy shop, I have some really cool stuff up!
My favorite design is the travel jewelry wallet organizer. It's a roll that has ribbon and pockets to wrap necklaces around and into, plus a zippered pocket with a secret compartment behind it. Awesome for going to Bonnaroo, you can bring your own personal favorite accessories in it, or bring it to store your new favorites you purchase from other artisans selling at the festival!
This fancy little organizer is also great to store your smoking accessories in as well!! Help an artist out by sharing this with your friends. Know someone getting married? I love making custom bridal party gift sets, either in these jewelry wallets or clutches! Either way, find a pattern and I can make it in your personalized color, size, etc! Thanks friends!

Aaaaanyway, neon is always good for 'Roo in my opinion.

So I was going to take you girls advice and bring more dresses than shorts, but now I am having a new concern...shoes! I was originally bringing sandals and converse, but converse don't go with dresses! I've been told relying on sandals would be a bad idea...should I buy some flat ankle boots (that's the only thing I can think of that might work?) Should I bring the converse and a couple of shorts outfits in case the sandals don't work out? It's such a shame because I have 5 pairs of boots and none of them would work for Bonnaroo (either too high heeled or too warm). I'd also love your opinions on some of the things I'm thinking of bringing! Here are two dresses I have i.imgur.com/o9LMJQs.jpg and i.imgur.com/9sBf1yX.jpg
I'm getting more and more obsessive now that I have my wristband! Actually feels real! I just made my first roo purchases yesterday (a sleeping bag and a mistymate)
I've worn my birkenstocks for 2 years with no problem! I think the key is WORN IN shoes... if you bring new shoes to Roo, you're gonna have a bad time. Whatever you decide on make sure you break them in a bit before you hit the farm.

I think Converse do go with dresses......I would totally wear them with a dress. Try Keens? They are like a cross between sandal and sneaker - I have 5 pairs at this point..... They have LOTS of styles. I can't imagine wearing any kind of boots in that heat, so I would advise against that....

For anyone that is wearing a tutu to brunch, I am going to cut a TON of strips of Silver Metallic, White w/ silver polka dot, and Bright Pink w/ silver polka dot tulle, so if anyone wants to add some sparkle to their tutu, they can I added a few strips to my tutu from last year and it just took me a few minutes and was super easy to do.

yes to this ^^^ I wear Chucks with everything and I think they look really cute with dresses. and I love Keens, they are awesome for keeping your feet cool but toes protected. also, I recently got a pair of Sanuks, about a month ago, and I have been wearing them non-stop. they are super comfy!

Thanks! You might have changed my mind, guess I was thinking too in the box. I just googled converse with dresses and found this and was shocked how cute a lot of the looks are, haha. The Keens look good too, I think if after I get all my other Bonnaroo things I still can afford them I'll get some, and otherwise I'll stick with the shoes I have. I'm still hoping my sandals will mostly work out though. They are a comfort brand but also old enough that I wouldn't be heartbroken if they got destroyed!
So this isn't really a Roo-related fashion question, but I'm graduating college this weekend(!!!!!!) and I need some kind of shaper for my mid-section for the dress I'm wearing. I'm looking for something like spanx, but less expensive. I know they obviously sell things like that everywhere, but I was wondering if you ladies have any advice on where I can find the best value.

There are some at walmart, different styles to choose from at decent prices. You find them in the section with the pantyhose.

They usually sell the lower-end shapers that Spanx makes (I think they're called Assets) at Target. I've had to use a pair once and it was just as constricting and painful as the real Spanx.

If you have a Maurices near you, I have a pair from there that holds you in without being too ungodly uncomfortable. I think they were about $20.

^^ Me! Me! I'll def add a few strips!
Chella- I've bought Spanksyish things at TJ Maxx/Marshalls in the past. (and Congrats!!!)
