Has anyone ever tried these glowing hair extensions? I want to try them but I've got short hair, I'm wondering how they would look if I cut them, and if they would stick straight out.
I ordered some just like those and am expecting to get them in the mail today! I have short-ish hair that will be really short by bonnaroo time AND it's curly so I'm expecting it to be ridiculous. If you want I'll post a pic when I get them
***EDIT*** Okay I made a little album to show you: imgur.com/a/Dpy2r
The photos don't show it well (they flash so it is hard to get a picture of them properly lit up) but you CAN cut them without them losing the light, it just moves the light to the end of the strand where you cut it!
However, it does kinda look silly and stick out even cut, though maybe flattening them under books would help? The packaging made them a bit curved and odd.
Basically I'd say if you have curlier hair like mine they will look crazy short or long, but if you have straight hair they will probably blend in a little better. I'm still going to do something with mine anyway though! Might just order some more and put them all around so it's more weird looking in an intentional way, haha. Also, I think some brands might light up better than others. Here are the ones I got: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007AM5PJC/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Someone posted a few months ago about them. I don't remember exactly what was said, and I don't have time now to look, but they loved them. One color (I think green) wasn't as bright as the others. Sorry that isn't much help! haha
Was it Madeline ???? I've been looking at them, but I would probably lose them before it even got dark out. I'm sticking with the 8 different types of glitter I bought and super bubble wand!
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days I'm going to set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it. Anyone who wants to tag along is more than welcome.
*OH and btw, a few of these are on sale on charlotte russe's website for $3
Along the same lines, I would suggest buffs. I found some simple ones I liked in the past on ebay, but you can also get the legit Buff brand (though it's like $13+, but some have UV protection, bug repellant, etc) or...make your own! We got some cheap somewhat stretchy fabric at Walmart for $1 or so and then sewed several buffs out of it. Perfect for keeping your hair out of your face, covering up gross hair, even using to cover your mouth/nose occasionally, etc. Here are a few ways they can be worn:

Can anyone recommend any good stores/websites for plus sized gals? I loved the Soul flower one, but the plus sized selection there was very limited. Thanks. :-)

I'm not plus-sized, but my mother-in-law is and I found this catalog/site for her which she loves. I personally like a lot of the stuff in it too. A lot of clothing that is similar to Victoria Secret's stuff, just larger sizing.
Some of the reviews say they're too short, which I don't understand because I'm just under 5'10" and they hit at/over the knee. I think you're supposed to wear the elastic part at your hips, though--they'd be WAY short if you wore it on your natural waist. So if you like things to sit high you might not dig em.
I also bought a mess of Tami's from Old Navy. I love those things!

Wow, that wrap looks ridiculously helpful, thanks for posting this!!

Jennifer It was me! The green and white are much brighter than the red and pink I got. All of them will look great in the dark though. They are all a solid light. The Rainbow ones blink on and off with no option to change that.

I'm hoping it'll fit over my ta-tas, since it's a one-size-fits-all! Zulily also has a pretty good selection of plus-size apparel!! Again, I've never actually bought anything until today, but I always look on there for clothes. I will report back once I get the dress (hopefully before I leave for Roo)!

I have this style of skirt from several years ago.... I bought it around 2008 in a brown/teal pattern. I LOVE IT! So comfy and it has lasted this many years. I may splurge and get one of the new ones!

Zulily was definitely tempting but then I went to Ross and got $140 worth of clothes (including a bathing suit, dress, and pants I'll bring to Roo) so I feel like I should not tempt myself and avoid Zulily for a while... heh. So tempting though, especially when a lot of my clothes I've outgrown after gaining weight a while back.
Four sundresses for $29! I'm sure the material is pretty cheap, but that's perfect for roo anyway. I'm a little tempted myself, but I'm not really crazy about those ruched tops because I really don't need any help being more flat-chested than I already am.

And dammit, now I accidentally bought a dress. Or rather, two dresses.
Wet Seal has some super cheap ones...I got these:
$7.47 for the pink one (which came in a blue print too) and $8.07 for the daisy one. Plus free shipping thanks to retailmenot. If anyone ends up buying anything from Wet Seal, make sure to make use of a coupon code: www.retailmenot.com/s/wet+seal

I finally find my jean overall shorts! Yes, that took some time, but I really wanted a pair to wear for Roo. Apparently, overall shorts are a relic, vintage now, and the funny thing is, the pair I find on Etsy is just like the ones I had in the late '80's. Ha!

Did you order them? I've been staring at them every time it rolls though my newsfeed.. Unlike you, those kind of tops work great for me. My boobs are too big for 90+% of sundresses and those kinds tend to cover up more. I wear a strapless bra with them. I have to (but I have one that I love).
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
