Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
I agree with Bonzai...you should make one! I've had good results making head wreaths using these fairy lights from Adafruit. The wire is bendable between the lights, which makes it easy to mold to whatever you want. The batteries are extra, but they last FOREVER.
I just want to thank you for linking Adafruit. I have been on that site all morning looking at the DIY and LED stuff. Thanks!
Their site is AMAZEBALLS! I'm looking into the LEDS you can SEW into clothes!

Have any of you tried the app Vinted? They have a lot of cheap deals on good name brand stuff! And you can even swap with people! I just got a backpack, a cross body purse, a tank top, and 2 dresses

I didn't read through all 285 pages....but I am going to say, for NEXT year (you have No time left this year) Zulily.com has some super cute "music festival" style clothing in both womens and plus sizes... The reason I say no time, is I ordered two shirts on May 8th and they are still not here....dang discount sites and crap lol

Several of us are on there. Definitely addicting. The reason they take so long is they don't ship immediately. They determine how much to order a few days later when the "store" closes, get that shipment, and then ship it out (thus being able to save you money in the end by them buying in bulk).

Yeah, its the downside to getting the items so cheap, but at the same time the wait kills me, part of why I hate ordering online...but I just went on an EBAY order spree....which was interesting to say the least...and now it's going to be like Christmas allllllllllll week as things arrive lol
The wait time from Zulily is why I decided against getting all kinds of cute leggings for Roo. I went to my old standby (Target) instead and got some for about the same price so it all worked out. I'm packing my clothes this weekend so now it's time to start making clothing cuts since I'm not allowed to overpack this year.
The husband and I are sharing a carry-on suitcase for all of our clothes. Who wants to bet that I'm going to get a lecture on taking up more than my fair share of space!?
I really need to get shopping, but I am heading right to Boston after work... I reeeeeeaally want to head to Michael's, though!
Just FYI i have not forgotten about headbands. I have the huge bag of sunflowers and my friend and I are meeting this week to make some She just needs to show me how to use hot glue and I will be on a roll.

I am so impressed that you guys are able to SHARE a carry-on...

Well, he basically brings 4 pairs of basketball shorts and 4 white tees and calls that a wardrobe. I'm going to try to streamline down to 4 dresses and some bike shorts. We'll stash all of our undergarments in the front pocket and just bring some shorts and tees to sleep in. Hopefully it works out. I will post a pic of my packed suitcase to amaze all of you

Yeahhh, I think I would probably need at least three carry-ons just for myself, and I'm pretty sure I am not exaggerating at all. Well done if you can manage to share one! I'm impressed.
^Same. I'm thinking about adding another fest this year that I'd have to fly into. I've been contemplating all day if I could manage to put all my clothes in a carryon so I'd only have to check one bag.
Does anybody else have a pile of Roo clothes going.. already? I'm going to have to pair it down quite a bit but it's totally getting close enough for that... right? lol

Oh hell yes. I've had clothes in a pile for a few weeks now
I usually do, but I am slacking this year- and I am getting anxiety! I leave for Mountain Jam less than a week from now and will only be home for 35 hours or so (with a day and a half of work in there) before I leave for Bonnaroo... I haven't started thinking about clothes, haven't made my new tutu, haven't pulled out my camping gear since last summer... I am seriously getting heart palpitations just thinking about it.
I do have a pile of fake sunflowers, a box of tulle, some random lightup stuff... so I can't say that I haven't done anything..? Kinda?

I rolled everything in my clothing pile to see if it'd fit in my bag. Now I'm going to take it all out and wash it. Perpetually doing everything backwards...
Whew!! Glad I'm not the only one!! I usually go the flowy dress route but this year I seem to be grabbing cut offs with tees and tanks instead but honestly, I'll probably end up taking a little of both!
I usually wear the same outfit for the daytime shows and late night but this year I think I want to mix it up, mostly because I get cold. Does anyone have any cute cooler weather outfits packed for Roo?

I almost always have two outfits per day (hence me packing waayyy too much shit). I run cold so I always need something warmer at night- usually a light sweater or a chambray shirt, shorts and shoes that cover my toes since I feel like they're more likely to get stomped on in the dark.

I think I may try Forever 21 today to see if I can find some funky leggings. I like longer dresses but I'm short so I feel like they never look right on me. I'm going to pull all my outfits out and then hit up the mall this afternoon. Think I may bring a pair of combat looking boots for night as well. I usually just back toe shoes and rain boots but combat boots may be a good in between.
