I usually wear the same outfit for the daytime shows and late night but this year I think I want to mix it up, mostly because I get cold. Does anyone have any cute cooler weather outfits packed for Roo?
I swear by the button down shirts - great for layering and you can find some that are pretty or with quirky prints. I usually go with the cotton or flannel plaid (just because I have them in about 20 colours) for my night layer over a dress or tee & cut-offs. I have a few that are dress length that I could wear over leggings too. I'm also bringing a light jacket just in case. Nothing I hate more than being cold.
PS not bringing all 20 of course. I pick ones that can go with most of my other items.
Does anybody else have a pile of Roo clothes going.. already? I'm going to have to pair it down quite a bit but it's totally getting close enough for that... right? lol
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days I'm going to set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it. Anyone who wants to tag along is more than welcome.
I think I may try Forever 21 today to see if I can find some funky leggings. I like longer dresses but I'm short so I feel like they never look right on me. I'm going to pull all my outfits out and then hit up the mall this afternoon. Think I may bring a pair of combat looking boots for night as well. I usually just back toe shoes and rain boots but combat boots may be a good in between.

Thanks! I am making some with small flowers and some with larger flowers, so everyone can pick with they like. I feel like the larger flowers will look better on people with thicker or longer hair maybe. I will make lots of different ones. If you have any preference of color flowers, let me know and I will put one aside for you I have blue, yellow (LOTS of small yellow sunflowers), white, orange, pink and a few purple because I couldn't find any really pretty ones in purple.

I found some great, funky leggings at Rue21 and they were Buy one get one.
I have all my clothes already laid out in my suitcase. I really wanted to wear dresses/skirts this year but I never could find any I liked that weren't super expensive. So it looks like I'm sticking to shorts and tops. I'm also taking a hoodie, sweater, and leggings for chilly nights. Ran into target yesterday and found tubes of 15 glowsticks for a dollar each. Everything else i still need to get will be from either the dollar store or big lots (I always find great deals for Roo at big lots).

I think I'm going to be on Team Underwire this year. All this time I've been doing bathing suits under my dresses, but I'm starting to think I'm just making myself less comfortable doing that. Actually halfway tempted to go shorts/tops some days instead of all dresses...we'll see. Going to partly depend on whether I can find bras that look decent with all of my dresses. And undies that are cute enough for me to be okay flashing them when I sit down, haha.
those are so cute! do any of you nasvhille cuties know the nasvhille burners group that does the clothing swaps over in east nashville? they do them on gartland and donate the leftovers to our charity for the homeless. you can get some killer stuff there when they do the swaps and they are also cool folks. im prety sure some of the people who do it are also o this board but not sure

Jho has a clothing swap in east nashville at least once a year at her house and donates leftovers to charity. Don't know who the burners group are though.

They just have a little barrette type thing on the end, you slide it, the light comes on and they are fiber optic. just look at that link it shows ya what I have, shy of the white color they have on there
