By the way- My old job was about to throw out (not because of damage or anything just the retail way of getting rid of old stock) a TON of light up hair extentions, I have green and blue and a couple pink, if anyone wants one or two let me know, I have 19 total, promised a green to Abra, and I will probably rock one of each. but that leaves 15 remaining.....
I'd like one! No color preference. See you at brunch??

They just have a little barrette type thing on the end, you slide it, the light comes on and they are fiber optic. just look at that link it shows ya what I have, shy of the white color they have on there
OMG then I would like one or two if you have enough.... Please!! I will also be in VIP and doing the early Tuesday dinner in Midtown.
Ya got it, any color preference? I'll just bring some with me Tuesday so I don't forget to give em to ya at the farm lol

Oh yes! I meant to respond to you! I'll take whatever color that you want to offer me Yay! Thank you
I usually wear the same outfit for the daytime shows and late night but this year I think I want to mix it up, mostly because I get cold. Does anyone have any cute cooler weather outfits packed for Roo?
We always wear our bathing suit / minimal clothing during the day, go 'home', get ready (change clothes, eat, get our lights ready) mid afternoon - early evening for the later sets. I think that's the most comfortable way to do it.
I also ended up making some sunflower bracelets with cotton twine. I just put one sunflower on each bracelet. I have about 25 of those, on top of the 16 headbands. (I'm now a bit concerned that some of the headbands may be a little small. )
I plan on giving the bracelets and headbands out for free. HOWEVER, I would not say no if you wanted to make a donation to Matt's Trees for an item. I'll have the Matt's Trees donation bucket with me at the brunch.
all of the clothes i bought online for roo CAME YESTERDAY!! the expected arrival date was June 11. Idk how they pulled it off, but i'm blaming it on roo being a lucky/good karma thing. gotta find a way to pass it on. anyway, so excited. bought some really cute tie-dyed stuff! and some new blue shorts.
I always pack minimal clothing and then I add extra items. I don't like to take a ton of clothes but I want enough in case its really dirty or really wet.
I always take extra shoes. nothing is worse than getting a blister and then not having a type of shoe that doesn't rub the area.
also...duct tape over a blister will save you. im not kidding. it works much better than a bandage. just but a cloth over the area and then put tape over that.
i am 100% trying to turn my floppy hat into a donut before next weekend! i pass on the project of donut sunglasses to someone with the facial structure to pull off round shades!

Saw this hat today (Pinterest? Refinery29? I don't know) and I immediately pulled out my big floppy hat. I can't decide if I want to do a sprinkle donut or just sparkles. Decisions, decisions...
DONUT FLOPPY HAT. That's really awesome. Sparkles would be the shiz, too. Because anything involving sparkles or sequins wins.
I hardly bought anything new for this year. I might go out tomorrow though and shop around for some fun things to wear. And I still don't have a costume to wear for friday. WAH.

Yeah, that costume thing is giving me trouble too and the husband is basically refusing to dress up at all. Party pooper.

Hola all, does anyone have experience returning Sanuks? I ordered some since I felt like they were some of the most popular comfy bonnashoes, but I'm sad to say they aren't comfy for me the bottoms are great, but after only an hour of wear they cut up the back of my ankle. I'm really hoping they'll let me return them since they were $55 but I know places usually don't let you once you've worn them.
super bummed! Gonna look for some comfy sandals like the ones I wore last year at the outlet mall this weekend
Is a carry on size suitcase too much clothes for one person? Going through my clothes and I'm just, "I need this. And this. This too. Oh no, and this." ;_; my small bag is too small.

Crocs!! I work in a pharmacy and am on my feet all day. I LOVE them!

That is the size I usually use for Bonnaroo. Must have lots of choices of dresses!
By the way the summer Soul Flower catalog just came out. I already ordered something. It gets me every time www.soul-flower.com/

You may think you have too much but here is my theory on clothes and Roo
You need something for day and something for night, you need comfort, and you need those changes of clothes in case something happens, (IE: get wet, muddy, any other bodily fluids or just nasty and sweaty and want something clean on) you need something to sleep in unless you plan to sleep in the nude
I have gotten Roo Packing down to a science, i have all of my clothes in a small duffle bag and have 3 pairs of pants, a pair of jeans, several tops, two pairs of jean shorts, a pair of khaki shorts, 4 bras, 7 pairs of panties (because I am so paranoid about clean panties lol) 2 pairs of leggings, 2 pairs of bike shorts for under things. So no it is not to many clothes, you need options and you need to have your comfort items

Thank you so so much!! My packing begins today!
Here is a tip to Maximize your packing space, dont fold your stuff. Do what is called a "Ranger Roll" (anyone prior military will understand that) What you do is this, Tee shirts, fold in the sleeves , fold the bottom up about 6 inches, then fold the sides in so you are folding it into thirds then roll it tight, shorts are a little more difficult but you can do it if you get them rolled tight, it will maximize your space. skirts fold in thirds and do a tight roll, pants same thing, fold in half then tight roll it up.
My dad taught me a different form of ranger rolling when I was a kid. He taught he to stack an outfit, e.g. lay down a pair of pants, then shirt on top, then undergarments. Fold that in half and tight roll. Each roll is a whole outfit. Haha.
Um, I bring a huge duffel bag stuffed full of clothing. In 2012, on Monday morning, I was actually out of clothing. I think I changed clothes 3-4 times per day that year. I'd rather have too many than not enough. And I always bring 10 pairs of underwear. I too am terrified that I will somehow run out of clean underwear.

LOl I think we are all obsessed with not running out of clean underwear I always bring twice as many as I could possibly wear.

Yup. I'm all for minimal clothing packing and maximum undies packing.
