I was on bcp's for 15 years. hubs finally got sniped so I'm au naturale now. at the hands of my ovaries.
I'm always disappointed when women have babies or take BC for years (or both) and their men can't go get a quick snip. Come on guys! Take one for the team.
ya, my hormones were all messed up, and my endocrinologist commented that it could be b/c I was on the pill so long. I had been bugging about snipping for years and finally threw a GIANT fit. made an appointment to get the copper IUD (no hormones) but he agreed to do it before I ended up getting it done. YAY BRIAN!!!

also let me just say- was freaking out that my little friend was going to be coming with me to roo (she came with me last year and I was miserable) but she decided to come see me early so I'm free and clear for the farm! aaaaaahooooooooo
Mine came late, and I was so afraid it was going to be so late i'd have it during bonnaroo, but it came THANK GOODNESS.
And while everyone is talking about birth control: I did the depo shot ONCE and had my period all three months, and was supposed to get my second shot January 3rd, skipped it, and my period is still all whacked out. I recommend everyone not get the depo shot. It's seriously scared me away from birth control.

I remember when the depo first came out in the 90s and one of my girlfriends got it. She had the same issue. I have heard tales of others spotting while on it as well.

My friend in HS had the same experience. She almost killed me when I joked that she may want to build an ark.

I hear a lot of mixed reviews, but the bad is bad enough to not try and find out IMO. Wish I had that opinion before I tried it though!
First - I'm reading all about possible rain and I have boots but don't know what kind of socks to wear with them.
Next on to birth control class. Y'all have a million options but you basically have to choose from hormonal or non hormonal. If for some reason you choose to go non hormonal this site has information about all options. Other than abstinence all are generally less effective than hormonal options.
if you're going hormonal think beyond the pill and remember there is the patch, the ring, progestin injections (which work for three months at a time), implants and more.
I do feel bad for my hubby he got snipped after we had our second child and less than two years later I had to have my ovaries removed. I keep saying I hope I get pregnant because we could start our own religion
katbur2 I wear soccer knee high socks, but I do have a pair that's already lined on the inside, and I can wear just ankles, but I'm more comfortable in knee socks.
Debating on bringing these fairy wings with me. They're kinda big. Any thoughts?
How big is kinda big? Will you have room in your car once your gear is loaded? I think if you are considering it, you want to bring them, and therefore you should.

Well here's a link to them. can't figure out how to upload them on here

My only concern would be a bumping issue when you're in crowded places, since they do seem pretty large. They're cool though! If you like hanging out near the back for shows, it'd probably be okay.

I might just take them off at sets I'm really into. N hold em I guess lol
Does anyone dye their hair for bonnaroo? Or like a week any other time? lol. I'm not allowed to dye my hair for work and since I'm taking 8 days off I thought why not! Then I remembered the crappy hair dye that wont be hard to dye out will probably run and I just need someone to tell me this is literally the worst idea before I decide against it.

I used hair chalk last year without hairspray or any heating elements (obvi) and it did next to nothing. Could barely tell I put it in. Aqua on my medium brown hair just looked like I'd been in the pool too long.
