Honest opinions on these shoes? My sister says they are dorky but they are soooo comfortable!
Kohl's right? Love them. I tried on the blue version but they were wrong for my fussy fussy feet. They are slightly clunky but should be comfortable and easy to kick off when you're settled in.

Yes, Kohls! There was a rainbow pair that I really wanted but they didn't have my size.
Sooooooo, how did YOU rock the 'Roo? Were your fashion plans Da Bomb, or just a dud? Did you try anything new? I saw lotsa ladies with the girls out, with and without body paint, and wondered about sunburn---yeeouch!
until saturday, target has a bunch of clothes/shoes/accessories buy one get one 50% off. on top of that, you can get an extra 10% off with promo code "JULY". old navy has 30-35% off everything will promo code "REALDEAL". forever 21 has great sales right now too.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days I'm going to set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it. Anyone who wants to tag along is more than welcome.
Now that it's getting dark at 5 PM I'm starting to get serious Roo desperation. I'll start picking up camp items and outfits to keep the depression at bay until lineup time.
I have to see if I can get to Target! I went to Michaels on Sunday and bought some Halloween tulle (black with "blood" spatters) and a butt load of green and purple ribbon. Not that those items will match, but I'll add the tulle to my tulle box (HAHAHHA TULLE BOX!) and I am planning a green and purple tutu.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

The GFT is getting real punny!
But seriously, I can't handle making awesome tutus :/
Since you guys were talking about shoes, I really loved these that I bought right before Roo last year - made a huge difference for me compared to the silly sandals I used to wear..

I guess amazon doesn't have them anymore but the ones I bought last May were much cooler looking - they had kind of a purple and pink pattern that were super cute - don't know what happened to them. I usually have good luck at Kohl's for that sort of thing too, I saw the same pair on sale there for $30

I wore these. All day/night, everyday/night of Roo. Felt like a champ even on Sunday. Brought them to 3 days of WayHome fest as well. I cannot recommend them enough. My shoes have the reverse colour scheme as these, which are not the most pleasing to the eye. But they're mesh top and have a reflective strip all the way around. I'm in deep love.

If so, I'm just curious what everyone does for their hair while at roo?
The first time I went, I had it braided wet and used moose and it kept the style all weekend without needing washed bc it was 2014 and not humid. 2015, it was so hot and my hair stayed sweaty and nasty, even with a shampoo everyday. I also tried dry shampoo and it didn't seem to help either. Also, I don't shower at the shower pods and my blow dryer had no way of working, even with a car charger with a wall socket. I have REALLY long hair.
If I can't figure something out for 2016, I planned on getting a ball cap and either doing a ponytail (which I hate how a ponytail looks on me) or do braided pigtails and hopefully the pigtails will be dried by late night and I will have an insane curl in my hair until I dance and get sweaty and it's gotta go back in a ponytail.
I just see all these photos of chicks with long hair thats perfect and straight at music festivals and I'm curious what I'm doing wrong???

My first year was 2014 too, and I have weirdo mixed kid hair, so I knew there were going to be hair probs. We had a shower tent with those shower bags and when I was so gross I couldn't stand it I washed my hair in there. It took 5 whole gallons of water to rinse it, but it worked. That year, Ii mostly wore it in French braids everyday.
Last year was pretty similar grossness wise, but I did this cute thing with a headband. You put it over all of your hair while its down, and wrap pieces around it toward the back of your head. In the back, you can tuck it all under, or put it in a low ponytail. I'll try to find a picture or a link to something similar.

I've tried looking cute at Bonnaroo and no matter what I do my hair usually ends up in a ponytail (which I also hate how a ponytail looks on me) but I try not to let it bother me. Usually those girls that actually look like their hair has been styled are not camping and have access to electricity. Just get a cute headband and throw it on your head and try not to care how you look. The cool thing about Bonnaroo is that no one cares if you smell, don't have makeup on, have sweaty hair, etc. We're all there to just have a good time! That being said it does bother me when I try to take pictures and I"m like "DEAR GOD! What is going on with my head?"
