But I HIGHLY recommend a baggie of wet wipes, a baggie of Clorox wipes, a baggy of regular TP, and then some gum and Purell to cool off and refresh mid-day!
A few years ago, they were marketing something called The Shenis at JazzFest. I don't know anyone who used one but, after having to potty in a Fuze bottle while stuck on the highway in Pennsylvania for four hours, any of those devices would have come in handy.

wow that thing looks awesome. i could definitely see myself using one.
i too, found the portopotties to be clean, considering how many people are there. It's like everyone knows that theyre gonna be using these things all weekend, so keeping them as clean as possible is the way to go. they were a lot cleaner than some smaller fests ive been to!
I think I can help with shade ideas but this one is a little harder.
Any of you ladies ever think of getting This Just a thought. The next thing I am going to invent is a duel personal clorox wipe / wet one dispenser.
I tried something similar to that last year and it didn't work and I had to go back to the tent and change I think this year I'm going to be like my sister and buy a pstyle.
In the continuing saga of "ThatGrrl Seeks Crocs," we are now up to Chapter 2. When last we met, I'd purchased a pair onn eBay, only to have some evil person in my apartment building walk away from them, before I got home.
In this chapter, I ordered a pair online from Piperlime, which arrived yesterday. Yay! I put them on. Fit like a dream. Sooo comfy. As I was taking them off, one of the straps detached. No problem, thought I. I hadn't touched it or pulled on it. Probably just needs to be snapped back together. No dice. Manufacturing defect. Wasn't immediately apparent, so I don't blame Piperlime. Sigh. Out of curiousity, I went to the Crocs website, only to fine out that they will send you new rivets or straps for free! Ordered up some rivets, in a jiffy. Yay, Crocs! Gotta love that kind of customer service.
Hey The Pstyle is similar to the P-Mate. We noticed people promoting them about 5-7 years ago at BluesFest in Ottawa, Canada. They work wonders and we swear by them. The ones we saw were alot better than the ones they advertise now but hey, its basically the same thing.

Last year was my fourth roo but my first camping. My friends and I were apprehensive bout not taking a shower for 4 days...turned out to be the best part! As you find out by Sunday, it really REALLY doesn't matter anymore.
So take off your bra, don't brush your hair, and feel the dirt between your toes!
And that shower when I got home on monday....oh god, it was BEAUTIFUL.

my stuff came from delias! (the hoody and dress) the hoody is super duper cute its alot brighter in person..i LOVE IT and also its pretty lightweight (medium to light) so its good for not to cool summer nights ;D
the dress is EXTREMELY light weight so great for hotness but its SEETHRU!! i dont know if its even wearable. will have to try it on .. maybe with some shorts under..
it just needs to be shortened..like every other item of clothing in my life
You too? I swear that I could clothe the world with remnants cut off the bottom of skirts, dresses, pants...it's ridiculous. And then there's the problem of spaghetti straps which are too long, as well. I've been sticking with sundresses which either have halter ties or adjustable straps. If you can adjust the dress to ride higher, sometimes I don't even have to shorten it!
Excitement when people post here is part of the whole womanly bond we all have!
Becca, Just wear the dress in the evening! Although wow everyone was right at roo when they said it was BBRRRR chilly at nite! you can always attach a nice cotton liner to the inside that you would NEVER notice. If you don't want to do it yourself, you know I'm a Sewer! Not a toilet person ladies..... I like to sew clothing.
Send it to me, scrunch it up tight and fire it into the mail, no charges, I'll get some nice lining and sew it in for you and send it back off to you.

Hey ladies. I am 100% new to all of this. 2008 is going to be my first Bonnaroo ever and I am so excited! I have read every single post on this thread and I just have to say THANK YOU! I was kinda nervous because I had no idea what to bring or expect. All of your links and videos are helping me out a lot! I'll be looking forward to reading anymore tips and stories you all have posted!
Last year was my first and well, the needs of us girls are usually different from guys who can walk around half-naked even in normal life and just need a pair of shorts, some Gold Bond and maybe a teeshirt to get through 4 days (I know I went with 2 boys).
And I never pimp my blog on here, but I did write a post post-Roo about different beauty products that women hate to admit they use, and a few of the things are very good to have at Bonnaroo... maybe it can be helpful to some:

I will def. be getting the smashbox primer! Also if you ladies are looking for a sweatproof/all day wear foundation, Revlon has made foundations and other products using colorstay technology and it works great!!
