Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Some of us have been talking about bringing extra supplies for those that can't bring a lot of stuff (flying in, greyhounding, hitching) so they won't be left short.
Some of you may remember this from last year and also remember that the lack of room in Tent Only and conflicting arrival times made setting up this site impossible. Still, there has been interest expressed in giving this another try.
As such, I was thinking that this year this thread could be a place for such people to request any needed staples that we who are driving in could easily bring. People can then PM each other and coordinate a meeting at Roo. There will be no Helping Hands Area at Roo. Just this thread to help facilitate connections.
Once a person in need arrives at Roo they can call their donor, find where they are camping and pick up their stuff (or arrange a central meeting place and time.). This should decentralize the process and avoid the confusion of last year.
Let's spread the LOVE!
Rules: Nothing illegal (obviously); Nothing expensive (Don't abused the good will) Remember, no one know where they will be camping. Be aware you may need to walk some distance to pick up donations. Once a donor/recipient have connected, please post and let me know so I can strike through the request and donation to help limit unnecessary and potentially bothersome PM's.
That's it. Request, Donate and PM away! Post your hookups! It's that easy!
To paraphrase "Let love roll down like waters and karma like an ever-flowing stream"

Hi! we're taking the greyhound bus! we'd gladly take any water or snacks that you're willing to donate, and we'll also bring anything any one else needs. we're both comming from canada, and this will be our first bonnaroo and we've never been to tennessee before so any help is greatly appreciated.
8-)I'm willing to share blister first-aid or any other kinds of first aid ie:band-aids, gauze, triple antibiotic cream, silly things only health care proffesionals would think of. Also H2O.

Hi all, I'm coming up from Ft Lauderdale either by greyhound or maybe plane. I have a real restrictive diet(I'm celiac and have candidas) and will need to cook my own food while I'm there. I can bring the food I need but a cooker/stove will be difficult especially the fuel which can't go on a plane. I would very much appreciatte if someone could bring me like 4 cans of 8oz butane for my travel stove, they come in a aerosol can looking container. Or if I could use your stove, or perhaps another type of fuel and I could get a new cooker if the butane is hard for you to find. Also a couple gallons of water would be awsome. I know it is alot to ask but I would very much make it worth your while. Went to the 2nd and 3rd Bonnaroos, coming back after a few years off and can't wait. I'll check back in this thread but feel free to email me at higitiki@hotmail.com Thanks -chilly
You are more than welcome to use my stove. It will most likely stay at my camp site and not at Tent Only though.
If you're planning on going to Tent Only, I'm sure someone at Camp Inforoo will be nearby and have a stove to lend.
I also have little Esbit stove that fit in your pocket and can boil a pint of water in about 8 minutes. If you're cooking small meals I can give you one of these and some fuel.

Thanks Dale and Melrose for responding via email and thanks Troo for the thread and bumps. Feeling much more confidant about my trip to Bonnaroo with your offers of help. I'm good but bump for others who need a hand. Anyone who needs some shade in Tent only I will have a good amount (Kelty medium sunshade), all are welcome to join me.
PLEASE, HIT ME UP SO I CAN PLAY TOO! So far, there seem to be more people offering to bring stuff than those that want (need) to ask! So, I'm encouraging those lurking to post some requests or reply to those that have made offers! Bonnaroo is really about a community- so make everyone feel good; especially those wanting to bring stuff. "We" all look forward to your posts!
i know that last year, you were talking about bringing a water heater for coffee. I was wondering if you were thinking about bringing it, or if there was anyway i could use it one morning or two.
If anyone has a ton of ponchos, and wouldn't mind bringing an extra, i could use one, as mine got blown away in the Tornado at Langerado ;D
Thanks Dozer! Last year we had quite a few people needing stuff as the date got closer.
Boots: You're welcome to come by and use my coffee making stuff whenever. If you have or buy a small percolator, I can give you a small Esbit type stove that will make a 4 cup percolator of coffee in about 10 minutes.
Someone here said they were bringing extra ponchos. I also have some extra ponchos and will bring them if I can find them.

I'll be driving from Georgia in a pick-up truck with some extra cargo space in the bed. If anyone needs anything legal transported PM me. I don't have much in the way of spare camping gear. But if you need some stuff that can't go on a plane or bus with you (case of beer, jugs of water, etc.) I'm in.
troo, I'll be camping in staff (volunteer area) if there are others vols that are flying or busing in and need water, first aid, etc. Or if anyone camps near me in regular camping and needs anything, just give me a shout. I'll be driving a pick-up in and going solo, so I'll have extra room for suppiles. David
Hey all, My colleague has just dropped 5 cases of Gevalia coffee in my lap. In each case are 2 regular and 2 decaf boxes of hazelnut coffee. I am a non flavored coffee drinker myself I thought if anyone needed coffee they wouldn't mind taking it off my hands. Otherwise its going to sit till December and be regifted to loved and unloved ones. Let me know if it it needed by anyone. Are we there yet!
Do they have coffee stands in the campgrounds or in Centeroo in the morning, and do they provide sugar and milk/cream? I don't really care how it tastes, even if they do use funky-smelling well water. When I need caffeine, even cheap gas station coffee will do.
I'm flying in, but I arrive early Wednesday evening and will be staying the night in Nashville before getting on the shuttle the next day. I will need that full night's sleep in a proper bed before the craziness of the weekend. I'm going to pick up many of my disposable / space-consuming supplies - such as food, beer and water - down there, just because it'll be a royal pain in the ass to buy them up in Boston and bring them all on the plane. That leads me to my next question... in your experience, how much water do you go through during the weekend? Will a 24-pack of those 16-ounce Poland Spring bottles suffice?
Oh, and two more things - a) do you think I will need to make a reservation for a motel the night before, given the number of people flying in? and b) can you get Heineken keg cans down in the South?
Thanks for your help, everyone. I really appreciate it. Without all the advice and suggestions from you Inforoosters, I would be so totally unprepared.

Yes I'd get a reservation as hotels fill up close to the airport. (and you can probably get a better rate.)
Yes, you can get Heinie mini-kegs here.
As for water, I'd drink a couple gallons a day, especially if you're drinking beer and coffe which will add to the dehydration. You can drink the well water there so adjust for that. A 24-pack should be okay as long as you plan on drinking well water also. Or you can always PM someone on the list and pick some extra water up from them.
And coffee is available but if you're anywhere near my camp, just stop by. I'll have free coffee every morning. And the there will be coffee and lots else at the Friday Inforoo Brunch.
