Some of us have been talking about bringing extra supplies for those that can't bring a lot of stuff (flying in, greyhounding, hitching) so they won't be left short.
Some of you may remember this from last year and also remember that the lack of room in Tent Only and conflicting arrival times made setting up this site impossible. Still, there has been interest expressed in giving this another try.
As such, I was thinking that this year this thread could be a place for such people to request any needed staples that we who are driving in could easily bring. People can then PM each other and coordinate a meeting at Roo. There will be no Helping Hands Area at Roo. Just this thread to help facilitate connections.
Once a person in need arrives at Roo they can call their donor, find where they are camping and pick up their stuff (or arrange a central meeting place and time.). This should decentralize the process and avoid the confusion of last year.
Let's spread the LOVE!
Rules: Nothing illegal (obviously); Nothing expensive (Don't abused the good will) Remember, no one know where they will be camping. Be aware you may need to walk some distance to pick up donations. Once a donor/recipient have connected, please post and let me know so I can strike through the request and donation to help limit unnecessary and potentially bothersome PM's.

I'm altering my offer by requesting people to ask for what is needed. Does anyone need anything (legal) driven to roo? I'm coming from North Florida. I'm willing to make room for those flying in, etc. I'm camping with about 40 people from around the US. We have all kinds of shared campsite items that you might need. Speak up. Frankly, you will be doing me a favor. It just won't be a good roo with out a random meet up with someone I don't know to give them something they need and could not travel on a plane with.
I have a specific request. I am flying and would love to have some Dale's Pale Ale at roo, so I was wondering if someone can pick me up a 12 pack? PM me if you can help out.

I guess what we meant was that we weren't sure what was available in VIP. Like do they have jugs of water so that all we'd have to worry about was bringing our own personal canteens rather than an ice chest full of bottled water? Because that'd be something we wouldn't want to haul on the greyhound bus.
And we were also curious about tarp to put on the bottom of our tent. Thanks again!

If you know anyone that is in Accessible/VIP/RV area and needs power, let me know. I am bringing my Honda generator (veerry, veerry, quiet) for my son's oxygen concentrator, 2 CPAP machines, lights, fans etc. We can charge cell phones, camera batteries, etc...I am in a wall tent and would offer this for someone else how needs electrical, but had not figured out how to get it done.
I'll also have a variety of tools with me for general repair. I wasn't a good boy scout, but I generally try to be prepared.

We're flying in from L.A. and I haven't found any sort of shade that's either easy to carry or that isn't lots of $$$$. We'll be in VIP, so if anyone can help out, that would be fantastic. I'll be happy to bring something from here as a token of appreciation as well as some $.
