For those that are fiber deficient like me(yes, it means that), I would highly recommend adding Fiber One bars to your food selection...at the very least it means less time spent in the port-o-toilets
Hi Kids, Longtime lurker making my first post - woot! In 2006 we brought some peppermint foot lotion. After a long day of walking and dancing and sunning my poor dogs were beat. We washed our feet with a washcloth we wet with super cold water from the coolers and put the lotion on an it was nearly orgasmic. Highly, highly reccommend.
I am also putting a few drops of peppermint oil in my spray bottle ths year to add the extra tingle of minty freshness to my spritzes.

I remember a new thing that I need to bring every time I go over my list of stuff to bring. I am seriously thinking about bring some vitamins b/c I am sure that I am going to be short of something from eating there all weekend.
Question about Goldbond. I know alot of people use this to prevent chaffin, but me being a roo n00b I was wonder the best time to apply this. Do you powder your stuff up before you go out or just if you start to feel the chaffing?
Garth Algar: Do you ever get the feeling Benjamin's just using us?
Wayne Campbell: Good call. It's like he wants us to be liked by everyone. I mean Led Zeppelin didn't write tunes everybody liked. They left that to the Bee Gees.

It's kind of sad that I'm already making a mental checklist of what gear I need for this year and we're still 4 months away. Im def bringing a lot less this year. Smaller tent, ez up, cooler, etc... I brought so much crap last year and half of it stayed in the car.
A Thieve's Parade 2/24 Conspirator 2/26 Kevin Smith 3/11 Keller 3/17 Papadosio 3/18 JJ Grey 3/25 Bela Fleck/Edgar Meyer 3/26 Toubab Krewe 3/27 O'Death 4/11 Budos Band 4/22 EOTO 4/28 Summer Camp 5/6-29 All Good
I'm with Questionablesanity there, I brought a RIDICULOUS amount of stuff last year and didn't use at least half of it. I went home with like two cases of hot Powerade. A lot of the peripherals that I never used are still buried in my trunk haha. Like my flagpole, never even set it up, ended up using the flag as a sunblock hanging from the side of the EZ Up. Brought a solar shower and never even took it out of the box. It's sitting in my living room, still in the box, never been taken out. So yeah, just think about what you will actually want to use when you are on the farm, a lot of it you can do without. One thing I'm definitely getting this year, though it is more for All Good than Roo, is a portable toilet lid thingy that fits over a five gallon bucket and a privacy tent. Roo's portos weren't too bad but I've heard tell of some gnarly ones at All Good.

I always tell people to cut their list in half the first time they go. They freak out until they get there and have tons of stuff left over afterwards.

Ok... First time to Roo with my wife.. She bought the tickets without any idea what the camping aspect meant. 3 weeks ago I did not own a ounce of camping equipment. Anyroo, Just in case in one cares how much this cost I just bought everything on the list. I'm about $1800 lighter. Ouch. Oh well.. Come see me. I'll be at the Clark Griswold camp. Thanks for the list.

Uh-oh, he bought everything on the list. Have fun packing.
no its not! ALready planning menu and going thru previous Roo containers to discard and non esentials and to make my list to update for Roo11....already dreaming!
The only thing I would recogmend is bringing lots of coffee and extra mugs/cups... nothing like meeting new neighbors with a sawed off beer can asking for a little coffee....it helps to make new friends and a better morning after a late night!
