Adidas are great, anything thats really comfortable. Jut remember, it could be muddy. I would bring 2 pairs, and you will be walking miles and miles, along with standing up for hours and hours.
Sanuks...trust me, I've tried everything else, and a good pair of "sidewalk surfers" is absolutely the way to go. You dont want the flops, but the canvas "shoe" style. They're light, uber comfy, well vented (so you dont get swamp foot), dry out quick if they get wet, wont give you blisters, but also wont randomly fall off your foot either. And best of all, you dont have to be seen wearing Crocs in public!
"We're no longer called Sonic Death Monkey. We're on the verge of becoming Kathleen Turner Overdrive, but just for tonight, we are Barry Jive and his Uptown Five. "
"I want you to notice When I'm not around You're so fücking special I wish I was special But I'm a creep I'm a weirdo What the hell am I doing here? I don't belong here" -Radiohead
“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.” -Benjamin Franklin
Note: You never know what's gonna be on or in the ground at night...I prefer shoes that protect my feet, a girl in my group last year mangled one of her toes up pretty good on a tent stake.
Just make sure your soles are thick, that's really the main thing. The grass in the fields is heavy-duty, and it can pierce cheap flip flops.

I loved my new pair of Crocs at langerado but they do make you look like a doofus. Who gives a shit what other people think though. As long as your feet are comfy that's all that really matters in life.
Everyone is going to have their shoe of choice and their own personal argument as to why, but as far as durability, simplicity, and comfort are concerned -- I can't recommend anything other than Crocs.
What kind of place sells those? just any shoestore?
Lots of shoe stores carry them I think, as do surf/skate stores (where I got mine) and outdoor stores. Having worn crocs before, I can say w/o question Sanuks are even more comfortable and wont give you the occasional blister or raw spot that Crocs can.

Well, Crocs are hideous, but I could care less. And I've never had any problems with crocs making my feet smell, either, and I've been wearing the same pair for the better part of a year.

i wore some cheap flip flops my first year, and they weren't BAD, i guess, but i wasn't always comfortable either, and they were useless to me after the weekend. but like others have said, roo is the last place you have to worry about people judging you by your shoe choice. unless you're in stilletos. then we'll have to point and laugh.
They dont' make my feet smell. But then again, my feet don't smell anywasy. So, I guess if your feet do smell, they look worse smelling in cros vs. teva/chacos/flip flops.
I'm happy it's Easter and my feet don't smell bad in any shoes.

I went barefoot quite a bit once I got to Centeroo last year. It might not have been the best decision I made all weekend, but it probably wasn't the worst. I wear Chacos all the time so I wear Chacos when I go to Bonnaroo and other festivals. The most important thing, which I believe several other people have mentioned, is to wear whatever shoes you are taking before you get to Bonnaroo. Can you walk a couple miles in the shoes comfortable? Stand in the shoes all day? Make sure you're comfortable and take an extra pair in case of ferocious tent stakes, rain, or other problems.

I can't see myself wearing anything but flip flops. Thats all i wear summer spring and fall. I walk alot in them and can't see them hurting my feet. Hmmmmm..... maybe i should bring something else incase. But i dont see myself doing the crocs thing. maybe sneakers or tevas?

you may not see it now. but if it rains like crazy like in 04 and ther is mud to ur ankles in areas of centeroo ur REALLY gonna want another option than flipflops. i promise.

are crocs really that comfy to walk around in?
yes, except i heard that the black ones get really hot in the sun. so when u put em on it can be kinda ouchy.
